だいじょぶ

The main purpose of writing this blog is to tell joanne (if you are reading this blog) " Not to worry.... There's nothing wrong with our video... everything is working fine after converting... so we dont have to waste another 1 and 1/2 hour to redo it again... だいじょぶ です!!!!"
Okok now... for the japanese... its just for a little practise... since i have no one to practise to at home so maybe i should try them out in my blog... since debbie understands them... haha... As i have learnt during my last japanese class.... the tape recorderテプ レ コダ that sensei use to bring along during classes is not he's... it belongs to UTAR!!!! and why am i making a fuss about this??? here's a small dialogue to show you why:

sensei: Lee Pei Tsan san...
me: Hai!
sensei: Oh... you have 2 san-s... pei tsan san...
me: (mumbling) yeah i have to san-s.... get on with your question...
sensei: are wa tepu rekoda anata no desu ka -does that tape recorder(its actually a cd player) belongs to you??-
as i was still mumbling bout the 2 san-s thingy so i didn't really get what sensei asked.. and he's asking in a fast-paced japanese... i only heard the desu ka part.....
me: mo ichido onegai shimasu -please repeat 1 more time-... slower please.. ( i have not learn the japanese version of "slow"... hehe)
sensei: (slowly so that i could hear each syllable) a-re wa te-pu re-ko-da a-na-ta no de-su ka -does that tape recorder belongs to you???-
me: (thought for a while) Iie watashi no so ja arimasen.... -no, its not mine-

- should i write all these in japanese????-

sensei: dare no desu ka -who's is it??-
me: (how the hell should i know???!!!!) er... sensei no.... -teacher's...-
before i could even finish the sentence,
sensei: Iie, sensei no so ja arimasen -no, it does not belong to the teacher!!!!-
me: huh??
sensei: are wa tepu rekoda UTAR no desu ka -it belongs to UTAR..-
me: cheh..... (mumbles again) you are the one who's always holding it.... i thought i was yours... how should i know that its UTAR's?????

-end-

-should i translate it???-
maybe i should... the translation will be the ones in blue.....
well.. i'm suppose to edit the video for our broadcasting assignment... then complete my communicative english assignment.... then think about my broadcasting assignment 2 (the radio programme stuff... must be ORIGINAL)... edit my pengajian m'sia assignment.... start with my mass comm assignment.... and start searching for japanese series so that i could pass my listening test!!!!
so much to do and so little time!!!!
especially the broadcasting assignment 2.... original programmes plus 24-7 broadcasting schedule???? nothing is in my mind now.... i dont see anything wrong with the programmes of radio channel nowadays... they are all really good... (excuse for my no-originality ideas)
anybody who is kind enought to help me?????

Cant resist....

I know i did say in rae's chatbox that i will not not update my blog if she dont update hers... but sigh... i'm too addicted to blogging... what can i do??? sit down and cry??? -snif snif- anyway... i might stop posting blogs for a while since i did say in rae's chatbox that i will not post any blogs if she dont post any on hers... in other words... i might be a lil busy then since my assignments all all piling up and due dates are getting near....
I have just finshed my pengenalan for my pengajian malaysia assignment and i SHOULD be starting on my point cuz the reference books i borrowed from the library are dueing soon... although i can renew them but dont forget that 3 of them are under my friend's id... so i'll have to ask her to renew it for me if i need them... my point is that i wanna finish this early as my bm are going to "mogok" if i keep ushering them to come back home to my brain, where they belong cuz they think they deserve a long long holiday after 11 years of hard work... sigh... so i guess i better not push too hard cuz i still have moral to deal with next semester.... another subject which urgently needs bm....
i've just completed my broadcasting assignment of documentary shooting and its now in-line for editing.... now.. i have to get going on my second assignment which is to come up with an original radio channel... the concept must be different from all the existing radio channels... i'm kinda stuck for ideas now... so anybody care to help by supplying me any ideas... you can give me any suggestions... programmes in any language but preferably in english.... and i need a 24 hour full time schedule for the programmes... too bad we dont have utar.fm.... or i think it'll be aired in the whole utar like what you see in school in th US... they have their very own radio channel.... so i guess ours is to just air it in the broadcasting lab and we "syok sendiri lo!!"... dj-ing... wonder how does it feels like... i have already tried hosting... its really hard!!! especially with people you dont know staring at you... it feels really awkward.... i've came through anyway... i wanted to be the director in the first place but dont know why became the host all of a sudden.... presenting in a very weird way... trying very hard to not at the strangers staring at me.... and concentrate in the video.... its hard work!!! i salute all the hosts out there!!!!
however we did have a lot of fun that day... all though it took us almost the whole day to finish the whole 3-minute documentary (plus some of our "syok sendiri" videos)... all of us were exhausted that day.... everybody was dozing off in class the nest day.... except me... haha... i tried hard to keep myself awake.... we took some photos that day... i'll post them after i got them... some body have not pass me the photos yet..... a-hem....
ok for now... back to my search for points for the pengajian malaysia assignment... sigh... what a life....

blogging mood strikes again...

Hihi... i decided to leave for school early today although my class starts at 9.30... for the sake of not letting the night market (aka pasar malam) stalls to block my car when i'm so desperate to go home after school....
I actually have nothing much to blog about just buying my time over blogthings and did a few tests...
Since i'm just in pure blogging mood with nothing to blog about... i'll might as well post some results....
Here we go......

You Are 65% Addicted to Blogthings

You lead the pack when it comes to posting Blogthings.
And your friends (mostly) thank you for it.
It's cute that you insist on being called your Japanese name.
Just stop bragging about your IQ score!

I lead the pack??? do they mean by posts??? i do post blogs kinda frequent... but i dont think i'm leading the pack... it should be debbie or cheryl as they always have long long posts with a lot of words or pictures to show whereas mine is dull and full of broken english and a very strong essence of malaysian language culture (aka bahasa rojak).... my friends mostly thank me for it??? do they???? i just dont think they are that free to come around my blog every single day... these kind of things are usually for the nothing-much-better-to-do people (aka me!!!).... I did not insist on being called by my japanese name... p3 or panda or pei tsan is fine with me.... and i don't brag about my iq score as i did not even do the test yet... as you know... iq tests are kinda long and boring comparing to others....

You Are a Social Blogger!

Your blog is more of a semi-private affair for your friends.
It's how you keep in touch... sharing stories, jokes, and pics.

Ooo... yup my blog is semi-private alright... most of my close friends know about it... i think we really do keep in touch through blogs more often than msn.... maybe bcuz blogs dont require everybody to be online and we can still leave messages in chatboxes and comment boxes if the writer is not available... do you guys agree????

Your Blogging Type Is Thoughtful and Considerate

You're a well liked, though underrated, blogger.
You have a heart of gold, and are likely to blog for a cause.
You're a peaceful blogger - no drama for you!
A good listener and friend, you tend to leave thoughtful comments for others.

Ahahahaha... i have a heart of gold... i am kinda peaceful but i'm not admitting the no-drama part... Excuse me... I'm a broadcasting student here!!!! drama is my life... my life is full of drama... if a good listener means i keep up with other people's blogs then i wont deny that... do i leave thoughtful comments??? you guys know better, right???

Your Blog Should Be Purple

You're an expressive, offbeat blogger who tends to write about anything and everything.
You tend to set blogging trends, and you're the most likely to write your own meme or survey.
You are a bit distant though. Your blog is all about you - not what anyone else has to say.

Hey hey... although my blog is not fully purple but the color is kinda close to purple... right??? the color is more of maroon, pink, red and purple.... and i do almost write about anything and everything.... blogging trends??? i'm not sure bout that... yup... my blog is all about me... who else will it be about anyway????

Argh...

argh... there's something really wrong here... i've been trying to reply comments and the "page not found" thing keeps appearing.... in the end... i have been typing the same thing over and over again for bout 3-4 times until it really got posted up... its so frustrating... dont know whether which of these are causing problems... my connection(which has been improving since the time i cant upload pictures...), blogger(it keeps asking me whether if i wanna switch my account 2 d google account... then:"page not found"!!!), my computer(that's where the "hang" thing comes in) or its just my luck??????
anyway... i'm suppose to be getting on with my pengajian malaysia(aka malaysian studies) group assignment essay and start elaborating my points before i was distrated by the urge of getting online just to check out my blogs and emails and not forgetting to collect the interest in my millsberry account.... hahahaha...
I desperately need all my bm knowledge back cuz its really hard trying to translate points that i have found in books to bm nowadays.... (as i said most of them are on holiday... not back yet) Why must we study pengajian malaysia in bm while other universities are studying the same subject but in english????? its not that i'm better in english than bm... its obviously the other way round anyway... but after years of not using bm its hard to get back the mood of writing long long paragraphs of bm essay(karangan) with loads of peribahasa(idioms)... everything will be very bland...
in the other hand... i'm really glad to say that i finally went to the library to search for information... haha... i know that's not something to be proud of but better late than never... although i'm ok with books but i'm kinda lazy to go to the library each and everytime i need information while the internet is standing there waiting to be asked.... however i borrowed 6 books from the library... my first time borrowing books... well, students are only allowed to borrow a maximum of 3 books at a time so i have to use my friend's id to borrow the remaining 3... its her first time too!!! to thank her about it... i'm dedicating this post to her--- Wai Kuan... very nice of her to let me use her id and bear the risk of being fine if i forgot to return the books in time.... (just kidding!! i'll return the books on time and ensure your clean record... dont worry!!)
p/s: Miss bm... aka rae... if you are reading this post do you mind helping me out with some peribahasa??? i need some examples of those frequently used ones... cuz i dont have any in my essay at all.... although i know its not required to have peribahasa-s in my essay but just to decorate my very-dull essay about politics...

Language on holiday...

Well, i've just decided to push down my longest post and get on with a new one... in case some of you may get really annoyed by the word LAN now... however i have some good news and some bad news for you guys reading here....
the good news is... you dont have to see the word LAN anymore... at least in this blog...
BUT.... the bad news is... i'll be talking about the subject in this blog... so indirectly they will be connected... so sorry...
I've just completed my very first assignment of the semester which is for pengajian Malaysia or better known as Malaysian studies for some people... which is a more than 300 word essay written in BM... known as a karangan... with the title of: Pembinaan Bangsa Malaysia...
I struggled like hell when i was writing this essay... after almost 2 years of not using BM, they have all decided to go on holidays around the world without me noticing.... i'll have to call them back using sos calls... however not all of them turn up.... my BM is still scattered everywhere... how i wish i'm like rae, the Miss BM... hahaha.... but i still managed to finish the essay with i-dont-know-how-many words... but i'm really sure that it exceeded 300 judging the amount of papers i have used....
I'm not allowed to screw up this essay cuz my lecturer told us that a copy of this essay will be sent to the prime minister's office... where he'll be reading them one-by-one... i really doubt that... as we know the prime minister or better known as pak-lah is a busy person... how is he going to fork out the time from his schedule and read i-dont-know... maybe more than a 1000 of essays under the same topic???? i dont think so.... all of us laughed when the lecturer mentioned that our essay will be read by the prime minister... till now i dont think many of us are convinced about what he said... anyway... i think i could still manage PMR standard of BM karangan... so it should be ok....
i'm starting my third week tomorrow... assignments are starting to pile... better get going or else there'll be too many to be done on the last minute because most of the deadlines are on the same week... besides i still have my hiragana and katagana to memorise.... so it'll be a busy life after this... hopefully i'll still be able to blog cuz reading blogs has now become one of my favourite past time....
oohhh... look at the time.... should be off cuddling my pillow in bed now...
oyasuminasai!!!!!

the LAN accreditation interview (finally...)

I finally got to know what is this whole LAN accreditation thingy interview is all about... they'll just ask you a few simple(but tricky) questions about the university and your study life to get to know the conditions and facilities of the uni...

Let me just start from the right beginning when i was required to gather at the media room for lunch.....

-flashbacks-

my class was suppose to end at 12.30 today but out tutor decided to let us off early at 12pm... usually this is good news for me but however realising that i have to wait alone until 1 o'clock for this LAN thingy is not a good idea.... but no choice... i'll still have to wait.... i wander around until bout 12.50 and decided to go and find where actually is this media room located... i heard its somewhere near the reading room but i'm not sure which part of it is near the reading room (doesn't really make sense... but hey, this is UTAR!!)... so it turns out that the media room was not near the reading room, it was actually in the reading room itself(things just couldnt get any weirder).... so i went and peek thru the window to see if there's anyone inside the reading room... there were no familiar faces in the reading room so i thought i'll just wait outside until someone i know come over and join me... well, things really didnt go as what i've planned... i met dr. sham(the broadcasting course advisor) on my way out of the reading room... surprisingly he actually recognise me from the briefing the other day and told me that i could already go in the room and get my lunch... he even knows my name!!!!! i wasnt really keen to be the first person to step into that room so i stayed at my spot for a while hopefully dr. sham will leave so that i could continue wandering around... but dr. sham looked at me with a please-go-in-now look... so that leaves me no choice but to go into the media room.... i was the first one in the room (not surprising) so i took my attendance(yup, you actually need to take your attendance so that they know you are there) and took my lunch, which was a burger from mcD and a cup of orange juice which you are allowed to refilled if you want some more....

i ate my lunch and went out to wander again because there's nobody i know in that room so what's the point of sitting there and stare at the lcd tv???? did i mention that i actually have a society meeting at 2.30??? i guess i didn't... however, it doesn't affect anything about the interview today... (you'll know why... read ahead...) i went back in with one of my other coursemate at 1.30.... took a slice of pizza and started chatting since i've found someone i knew....

until about 2 something, dr. sham said that the faculty representative and all the course representatives will be the first batch going in for the interview later.... then someone on the tv and all of us start watching "sepet".... in the middle of the movie... the first batch was called in for interview... leaving the rest to continue watching the movie... luckily we are asked to wait in the media room where there's a tv and dvd player.... its not that boring if you've got something to watch, of course the show must not be boring or else it will make things worst.... but i somehow didn't manage to watch the first part of the movie... it just started from somewhere in the middle... then when they play the first part it was not playing really smoothly... cetak rompak ma.... so anyone with the vcd??? can borrow?????

then the second batch was called in... the year 3 sem 2 students.... ??????? how come they are the ones interviewed first??? which means the year 1 sem 1 freshies(aka blur case people) are the last ones to be interviewed.... i thought it should be the freshies who cant really provide a lot of information about the uni will be the ones first since they cant get any info from us anyway so why keep us till last???? i've only started me degree for less than 2 weeks... how should i know things about the uni??? i have not even get to know all my lecturers and tutors yet!!!!

so we waited... and waited.... and waited.... and waited...... and waited.... until we finish the whole "sepet"... and continue waiting.... until we were moved from the media room to the waiting room... however when we got there... there was another group still waiting to be interviewed... so, more waiting.... the year 1 sem 2's started entertaining themselves by doing a mock interview by themselves with all kinds of weird english accents.... i couldn't help laughing at one of the answer they gave... here it goes... Q: what do you think of the university's facilities and equipments??? A: oohhhh(you've got to imagine it answered in a weird english accent).... oh my god... the university's facilities are so high-tech that i don't know how to use them!!!! -burst off laughing- then, one of them turn to us and asked: you guys are from year 1 sem 1 right???
us: yeah...
senior: dont worry much... you guys will be much like us when you reach sem 2....
us: (internal monologue aka monolog dalaman) what!!!!!

anyway... we continue waiting and wait and wait and wait..... then the group before us went in the room... continue waiting.... until finally......... -drumrolls- its our turn!!!! look at the time, it's 4 pm already.... so about8 ir 9 of us went in (3 year 1 sem 1-s and the rest are year 1 sem 2-s)... there were 3 peoplr sitting on a long table... an indian lady, a malay guy and a dono-whether-is-a-malay-or-indian guy without a laptop in front of him... after all of us have seated...
1st Q(Q also will be representing the LAN people): all of you are from year 1???
A: (nods)
q: sem??
A: 1(us), 2(the rest)
Q: ok... please introduce yourself...
A: -introducing- (everybody with their own grandmother story about their origin....)
after a round of introduction,
Q: ok, now... why is utar your choice of university...
A: (this was answered by a 2nd sem student as he goes along about how he dont like physics during his stpm and he quited stpm for utar... bla bla bla...)
Q: how do find this course?? (looking at me...)
A: (so this was answered by me) er... actually we have just started for a week and a few days and mostly first lectures are about introduction towards the subject and coursework and stuff... so i think i cant really give any comments about this....
Q: Oh, ok... (looks at the sem 2 students)
A: (and they start answering)
Q:so what are your expectations?? (looking at me, again)
A: erm... basically i'm really interested in drama series... i've been watching them since young especially the chinese ones... i've noticed that most of the tv series are from foreign countries... china, hong kong, taiwan... so i really hope that one day malaysia could also introduce our own tv series to other countries... hopefully i could bring local tv series and introduce them to other countries.... (something like that... i dont really remembered what i answered)

note: i cant really recall all of the questions asked... so i'll just write about the ones i remember..

Q: how do you manage your time among your coursework, studies and exams??
A: (answered by the sem 2-s)
Q: (someone somehow mentioned about the library) so how often do you go to the library??
A: -silence- (everyone looking at each other) occationally... uncountable times..... err.... erm... hmm...
Q: Do you know where is your library???
A: (everyone nod furiously)
Q: ok, so i've seen some very good journals in your library, do you use them for research??
A: (answered by the sem 2-s again but the answer was obviously yes...)
Q: do you find it hard to understand??
A: (one of the sem 2-s answered) the way i do my research is that i'll put a dictionary beside me (really?????) and use it when ever i dont understand something or i'll ask my brother...
Q: (to the certain sem 2) what journal have you come across with??
A: (yikes!!) er... er... er... i dont remember the author's name...
Q: It's ok, just tell us the title...
A: (he's gonna be in big trouble...) er... er.. er... the journal is from my brother... i dont really remember.... er... i think its... communication.... communication.... er... communication for business... something like that....
Q: (doesn't look really convinced) Ok... do you find the degree course different from your previous studies??? (looks at us again...)
A: (i answered again...) er... not really because since we have gone thru a year of foundation here so i find it quite easy to adapt to the way the course goes.... (continued by others)
-many other random questions about the coursework... answered by the sem 2-s-
Q: is your exam based on your syllabus???
A: (nods... but one of the sem 2-s answered)
-a few more questions-
Q:ok... we're done... you can go now....
Yay!!!
not so fast!!!! we are still required to fill a form that requires us to write down the questions asked and our response towards it..... sigh.... most of the questions were answered by the sem 2 students... therefore i basically left most of the responses ares blank... so what's the point of interviewing us anyway???? we answered less that a quater of the questions!!!! you can totally count us out... there wont be any difference!!!!!

by the time, i got everything done, it's almost 5 already!!!! did i say that i have a society meeting at 2.30 - 5 pm??? well, obviously... i didn't get to attend it because it ended already!!!! so that's why i said it does not affect anything today.... luckily they didnt ask anything about society and clubs.. or i'll be answering: actually, i'm suppose to be in a society meeting now... n-o-w... so i guess its not that important since i'm required to come here rather than my society meeting... (trying to sound as innocent as possible)
then when i was going out, some very-smart guy double parked his van right in front of my car... with his engine on and no phone number to call... i went and ask the guard whether he knows who's van is that and can he "kindly" move it cuz i wanna go home???!!!! the guard answered... "ahh... dia orang sekarang dalam ambil orang... sekejap lagi dia keluar..." oohhh... so smart, sekejap go ambil orang and park his van in front of my car???!!!! there are parking spaces available, you know???? it society day!!! most of the students left at 2pm... plenty of empty spaces!!!! why block my car??? especially when i'm so desperate to go home!!! after waiting for dono-how-long, he finally came out and move his car so that i could go home....
i'm so thru of waiting today.....

distracted... (hehe...)

The computer was actually turned on for assignment purposes but however i just happen to come to my blogspot account.... it's not something i planned to do.... -honest-
Then i've realise that a few of my friends have not been updating their blog... cheryl's frequent-updating-mode is on the go again... so read a few posts on her blog... her english is so "powderful"(aka powerful) that i really felt ashamed of my english in my blog.... but anyway... as i have stated right at the top of my blog that english has never been my best subject, it really has never been my best subject... so friends, bear with me, ok???
Debbie has updated her blog a few days ago so it will be kinda mean to demand for any further updates... but there's 1 thing i always wanted to asked: debbie, why do you always save your blogs as draft and post them like a few months later????? at first i thought blog spot has lost the track of time.... just then i realised that you have been saving your blogs as drafts and post them later.... she should be coming back a few months later anyway... so it either finish posting up all her posts about her life in japan or post them up slowly to keep the fun instead... i think she's choosing the latter judging the way she post her blogs... anyway is fine with me as long i get to read new blog entries... i dont care whether they are the latest ones or not....
HP's blog is still about her "beginning" of her study life in setapak... semester has already started for one week already i thought she might have some things to blog about but i also understand that she have to travel quite a long journey from subang to setapak so i must be considerate and not keep urging her to post blogs... its really kinda tired traveling to a place so far, just listening to it is also tiring... but at least you have a nice campus.... i have to go thru air pollution everyday... besides, i have to walk under the hot sun so frequently that i'm going to lost my so-called fair complexion already!!! i must put on sun-tan lotion when i'm required to walk from one building to another next time....
Rae's blog is still showing her ideal career which happens to be a bank president... (just kidding, rae. but if you dont want people to keep talking bout it, you better post up to sink it down...) cuz rae doesn't have a frequent-updating mode like cheryl and she's now very busy cuz a-levels exams are around the corner (or they have already started??? correct me if i'm wrong) so forgive her for not updating... i'm SURE that she'll post some blogs after her major exam is over... at least a few quizzes from blog things.... Gambate!!!
well, i'm off to go thru my assignment question now... (that's actually what i intended to do in the first place without being accidentally distracted by blogspot...)

p/s: is the suggested name for our gang fantastic 4??? how come i got the feeling that it somehow is????

about LAN accreditation briefing...

Well... as promised although i know most of you will not be interested to know... i'm here to tell you bout the LAN accreditation thingy which i was "luckily" chosen to attend today.....
i went to school at 12.15 cuz the briefing starts at 1... found a parking space right in front of school... -so lucky- bought 1 of my text books.... and headed straight to the room where the briefing is held... once i stepped into the room, looked around... i stretch out my head to check whether am i in the right room or not cuz there was not one familiar face in there... after staring at the room no. for a few seconds, knowing that i am in the correct room, i walked into the room hoping that nobody will notice me walking in... i sat at the very corner of the room to avoid gazes cuz most of them in the room have friends and some of them were looking at me with a where-do-you-come-from look and that freaks me out cuz if they all know each other, does that means they belong to the same group while i'm the only weirdo here??? i kept checking my note about today's briefing to make sure i'm not in the wrong place at the wrong time... unfortunately... i am in d correct venue stated... then one of the lecturers asked "anybody from year 1 sem 1??" i raised up my hand and kept glancing around the room for someone else to raise theirs but i'm the only year 1 sem 1 student there.... (note: the girl who was supposed to go with me is not feeling well so she didn't attend to briefing) the lecturer nodded and i was quite relieved that i'm not in the wrong place after all... just that i'm the only one there...
after everyone settled down, a guy from year 1 sem 1 turned up... why didn't he turned up earlier so that i won't have to be so freaked out when entering the room???? stupid fella....(haha, no offense.. i dont think he's reading my blog anyway... we practically dont know each other except for names...) then they begin explaining why were we asked to be there...
it turns out that UTAR's broadcasting course has not been accredited by LAN, so we(the so called have-very-positive-attitude-towards-the-university people, i think none of them is reading my blog... cuz they'll realise that they have got the wrong person... hahahahaha) were selected to be interviewed by some people from LAN to convince them that UTAR's broadcasting course has the standard to be accredited.... haha... so it's up to we people that the course will be accredited or not... (important-nye...)
the interview will be on wednesday.. which is the day after tomorrow(not the movie!!)... there will be a free lunch!!! haha... i can save money again!!! yay yay!!! i'll update bout it after the interview... stay tuned!!!!
after the whole briefing stuff... i went to the office to asked whether they have approved my transfer of tutorial group already... it turns out that it's already approved!!!! i'm now a member of bc3!! yay!!!!

First week as a degree student....

Its the last day of my first week of school... i'll be starting my tutorials next week... let me give you a brief recap of what happened thruout the whole first week....

Monday: there's no classes so i guess there's nothing to share....

Tuesday: The first day of school... i got to know from a very helpful friend that my class starts at 9.30 so i left home at eight just in case i needed time to search for parking spaces... however there was no empty spaces along the road so i have to park at section 17 which is across the road.. the whole picture is... a "T" shape... my school is along the vertical line (those who know utar should know that they are all over the place....) and i parked at the horizontal line of the "T"... there's a road between the 2 lines.... so here's how it goes... i parked my car and walked to pc which is like the 3rd last(correct me if i'm wrong...) building in the row... what i'm trying to say is: "its a LONG way!!!!" so after i reached they block i went straight to the notice boards to check which tutorial group i'm in and started copying the timetable of my group.... after that... i have to walk to pg to attend my class, which is the first building in that row ( another long walk).... after 2 classes of pengajian malaysia... i walked back to pc to get my photo taken for the student id card.... THEN.... i walked back to where i parked my car.... guess how much i've walked????!!!! under the HOT sun!!!! it was an exhausting first day because i was sweating like... (cant put it in words) after i got into my car.... however i met a few old friends from foundation and made a few new friends....

Wednesday: since there are no tutorial classes on the first week so i only have 1 class on that day.... before the class, one of my friend ask me whether i would like to change my tutorial group because he got some friends who like to change and they are short of one more person to switch... under some circumstances, i would certainly like to switch group because most of my friends are in the other group... so i agreed and signed my name for the switch... it's not really approved yet... hopefully it'll be approved... Communicative English was kinda fun actually... i get to know a few more new friends that day....

thursday: thursday was a long day because i had classes from 8 till 5... therefore, i'll have to go to school early and lucky for me i got a parking space right in front of the school... haha, lucky me... introduction to mass comm was kinda boring cuz we got a blur lecturer which i assume he himself is not sure about what he's talking about... luckily i learnt a bit of the theories in writing for mass communication during foundation so i got to understand the whole idea from start... he keeps giving examples and repeats the same thing over and over... for instance: in communication, there'll be a sender, receiver, message, channel, noise and feedback.... you can actually explain all of them by giving one example... "the lecturer(sender) is announcing that there'll be no class next week(message) for the broadcasting students(receiver) thru a microphone(channel), during the announcement, the microphone is not functioning well(noise) so the students ask the lecturer to repeat the announcement(feedback)... isn't it simple??? the poor lecturer is giving examples for each and every element.... sigh... it's more confusing that way... and it wastes time too!!!! Then, it's time for our elective class... we are given a choice to choose either japanese or chinese(i believe i mentioned that a gazilion times already...) for our elective... i chose japanese cuz i already know chinese and there's no disadvantages at all for a broadcasting student to learn an extra language.... so i signed up for the japanese class... and quite a number of students showed up for the japanese class as well... some of my friends continue with chinese because they are afraid that they cant catch up with a new language... however, the lecturer said that japanese is going to be very hard if we don't put effort and we'll have to memorise all the hiragana and katagana characters (50 each) within 2 weeks.... and basic greetings, numbers and classroom vocabs by next week... after hearing that a few students started to think whether they made the right choice and the lecturer let them go and try out for the chinese class... a few of them left and did not come back... i however stayed because i always wanted to learn a new language and i wanted to take the challenge and proceed until japanese 4.... hahaha.... wish me luck...

Friday: which is today... also 1 class only due to no tutorial classes... broadcasting was a fun subject for me as we get to shoot documentaries and create our own radion stations as assignments.... before our class the lecturer suddenly announced that she would like to see two people... which includes me!!!!!! being very surprised cuz i have never been called out during lectures went to the front to see what's the matter... the leturer said the other girl and me have to attend a certain LAN accreditation briefing (HP, do you know anything bout that????) but why me and her only???? it's getting kinda scary now... i'll have to attend that briefing on monday... (yikes!!! that's my rest-day!!) hopefully i'm not in trouble.... luckily the girl who's going with me is someone i know.... hehe...
that's all bout my first week... will update more about my degree life after this.... stay tuned!!!!
