1 week of excitement

An exciting week has just past.... Bear in mind, it's the Air Asia promotion week... It's chaos on the internet especially the website for the airline... I must be really lucky to manage to secure return tickets to Macau next year... As i have planned... I would like to celebrate my birthday in a different country next year... and I actually am on my way to make it work (quote from Tim Gunn)!!

Although it's not the 10 cent air ticket... but i think it's affordable enough... No regrets there... i never knew it was so tiring to book tickets online, especially when there are like thousands of other people out there who are also booking.... i was kicked into the waiting for like a gazillion times before i could actually reach the booking process... but was kicked out again because i was too slow... talk about a panic attack... good thing only 2 of us are going... not much details needed... and everything could be done quick...

after the tickets have been book, the excitement started to sink in... i couldnt help seeking for budget hotels and tourist spots, promotions and stuff for the trip... even though i have more than 10 months to go...

let's move on with something else with my life... I've finished 10 lessons of korean language.. that marks another milestone to one of my goals.. another 10 to go before i take the topik test, which is the korean language proficiency test... i can't believe i'm actually on the way of achieving my goals... it's usually just a frame-up, where i'll just frame the goal up and look at it when i'm free without really taking any action to make it work(i really like this quote)...

today marks the 10th lesson and i guess i'll take a week or 2 off from classes... to revise and get ready before i start again...
한국어를 배워요~~~

I can type without refering to the character's list now... an achievement after 10 lessons of looking up the online korean dictionary...

that's all for now... after 2 months of silence...

signing off~~
toodles

hey hey girl!! haha, yah I know you're excited ;-) I saw your post on forum. Very happy for you...so how much is the total cost for flight (10 cents + X)? and oh, r u going with one of ur girl frens? must be careful ar...(not your first time travelling with a fren or two?)

and oh, you're actually studying korean (whoa!!) on your own initiative? salute!! hehe, I am doing something korean too...i'm adding another hour to my dancing lesson - the additional hour will be of J-K pop dance (probably somewhat similar to Street Jazz)

oh...rm353 is good price i think...considering that for indonesia is 333 return (promo price)...so you've got a good deal ;-)...and haha, the excitement will probably linger for a while before subsiding...and it's certainly a good thing as it sets you in a high spirit and good mood...
and whoa, good that you're taking a test for the korean language...it's very smart of you to turn a liking into something that could be useful in the future. It is a competitive working world afterall, and language is always of high value in the CV ;-)
lols, i wont be 'performing' anytime soon, but i hope to improve fast:P the instructor's really good and he keeps me motivated and I am learning fast..and i'd better be, bcoz he said the most improvement is seen at the first 2 months, after that it's hard to see improvement anymore (i dont know how true but i'd better listen to him and really practise:P)

ahaha, yeah the waiting and multi-tasking thingy, i totally understand that as I am doing it everyday (with the super slow connection and non-cooperative system:P)...and no, no, i must clarify that i never have any talent in dancing...when i was 10 i did ballet and i merely passed for the elementary level exam (it didn't help that my sister was no.1 in the whole ballet school, and i was err, number last)
and oh hey, scholarship..do u wanna check out the European scholarship which I took last time...I am not very sure of courses of your field, but you may want to check it out here: http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/erasmus_mundus/results_compendia/selected_projects_action_1_master_courses_en.php
the scholarship's one of the best around becoz it covers fees and living cost (you have more than enuf to cover travelling around Europe, provided you dont live like paris hilton:P) and most of the courses makes you take modules in at least 2 different countries...;-)

oh good that your TL is ok with earphones plugged in...so nice ;-) actually I was initially a little 'surprised' and then it gave me the impression that ppl in IT related companies have earphones / headphones on...ppl in my office do that too, especially the program developers (all the technical IT fellas)...but I don't really do that, as I dont think my direct manager will like it...plus I can't really concentrate sometimes if I do put on the earphone, I really type out a word or two from the lyrics onto my document, and then frantically deleting them:PP...hehehe...but i have colleagues who will even be humming on tunes:PP
