First day at work

Disclaimer: I am not talking about my first day at work... Just a random thought about the typical first day experience..

It's your first day at a new company. You step into a completely unfamiliar place and someone led you to your seat that will be your nest in this company. You look around, and of course, you know nobody, nobody looks familiar... so you sink further into your seat and play around with your PC, if you have one... sometimes, newbies don't get their own PC until they have been around for a week... Anyway, you try to look busy, although you know you have absolutely nothing to do... You explore the buttons around outlook and realise there are a few incredible functions that you will forget later.. I always forget where is the "recall back email" button and found it when it is too late..

So, you sit at your seat and bond with your PC and chair, they are gonna be your best companion throughout your days here... You look around at your current colleagues, wondering if you could get along, are they the chatty type or the mind-your-own-business type.. You check for earphones to determine whether listening to music while working is allowed.. And then, your manager or the person you are reporting to arrives.. they are usually late.. so be prepared to hang around for at least an hour because you will surely be early on your first day..

We shall just call that person the manager, since he/she will be managing you.. The manager greets you briefly and walks off to his/her seat/room settles some "urgent" stuff which might be scanning through emails, FB or just switch on his/her pc...

After the manager thinks you have settled in, here they come gesturing you over and introduce you to the company, this might have been done by the HR.. so the manager will also be telling you about the business.. how it works and how they work.. then they will show you a bunch of their previous works and here comes the golden question...
"what do you think we should change to make it better?"
"Any ideas you would like to suggest? Since you are new, we need some fresh ideas..."

Ok, that's 2 questions.. but don't you think it is ridiculous to ask someone on their first day of work?? Well, firstly, this is my first day, I came here to fit in, not to change the company, if I would like to change the company, I would have started my own company... I came to learn about your company and now you are telling me that it is not as good as I thought and I should do something to change it?
and then, about the "fresh, new ideas"... I just came here, my ideas are bound to be "new" and "fresh" to you but they are not FEASIBLE because I won't know what is good or workable for the company as it is my first day here.. obvious not??

alright... just some random thoughts..

Pulau Ketam 311216-010117

I spent my New Year on an island.. I bet that's gonna sound cool, I count down-ed in my sleep at a hotel room in Pulau Ketam with people singing karaoke at the hotel lounge right beside my room.. To be fair, they stopped singing at maybe 11.30pm.. So I would say.. Let me tell you how I spent one of my last countdowns in my 20s..

So, the plan started when the 4 of us were preparing for TOPIK (Test Of Proficiency In Korean language) and were so stressed out because we were totally not ready for it and took it just because we have been learning for so long, it is time to do something about it.. Before we attended the exam, we said that we will plan something after the exam to de-stress.. Yea, we seem pretty "mengada" about this but it was tensed.. Try taking TOPIK II unprepared, and you will know what I mean..

Then after the exam, we did came across some homestays via Facebook and discussed about our plan.. then we suddenly decided on Pulau Ketam.. I think it was my idea but I don't remember why I suggested.. anyway, Pulau Ketam it is..

So after the venue was confirmed, we had to fix a date.. and all of us being working adults.. It's pretty hard to get everybody together.. Me, especially *hides face* since I have been teaching on weekends, it's pretty hard to have an empty weekend for a 2 days 1 night.. We could have taken leaves but it was pretty inconvenient at that time and I forgot why.. anyway.. in the end, we decided to just go on the last day of the year and celebrate the New Year there..

And then.. we planned.. this is the boring part, which includes googling and whatsapp-ing so I shall skip to the day we put our plan into action..

The plan was to meet at KL Sentral at 11.30am, have lunch and go to Port Klang via KTM together.. and then everybody reached early, so we met at 11am, had lunch and head off to Port Klang at 12.50pm (coz the train only started moving at 12.50pm). It was an hour-long ride till we reached Port Klang.. and make our way to the jetty.. bought our tickets.. return air-conditioned ferry tickets for RM15. Waited again coz the boat will only move at 2.45pm.

We reached the island after a 30 minutes ride..

Here we are..

And that's the hotel we are checking in to..

Sea Lion Hotel.. you will see it the first thing after you jumped off the boat.. it's right at the jetty.. The Biggest Hotel on Pulau Ketam..

That's me checking in.. I have booked a VIP room for 4 earlier.. the guy was really helpful.. it's RM168 per night, including surcharge as it was a public holiday eve plus weekend..

I forgot to take photos of the room but it was decent, with 2 double beds, a TV, Hot Water Heater, Shower, and a Kettle..

It was drizzling slightly when we reached Pulau Ketam so we decided to stay in the room for a while until the drizzle cleared..

After hanging in the room for around 30 minutes.. we headed out mainly to decide where to have dinner.. I asked the receptionist for a map before we wandered off..

The first restaurant we set our eyes upon and became our dinner place that night..

Behold.. the colourful roads around Crab Island..

I love to look at colourful scenes.. and as you could see from the photos.. even the houses are colourful.. the villagers painted their house whatever colour they like..

Besides colours, there were pretty murals around too..

The island is pretty small, you could finish exploring within a few hours if you were to explore thoroughly.. if you are just glancing through.. then it may only take around an hour..
You could rent bicycles to tour around the island.. but we prefer walking.. it's just RM5 per bike per day... a different price for e-bikes.. I think it's RM20 per hour, if i remember correctly..

Besides mural and colourful houses, you will see quite a number of temples here as well since Crab Island's residents are mainly Chinese..

We stumbled upon a souvenir shop and decided to get some tidbits for the night as we count down.. we bought 9 packets of keropok that cost RM23.5..

And then, we became super hungry... so we bought a medium Oyster Omelette for RM10 from the stall next to the restaurant we had dinner at..

Yummy yummy yum... And behold.. our dinner! Which cost RM159.50

Salted Egg Crab

The crab was so good, it deserves 2 photos.. haha

Butter Prawns

Steamed Lala

Fried Veggie

And, we went back to the hotel after dinner, where we watched an episode of 도께비 and 竊聽風雲 2 while waiting for the clock to strike 12.. munching off keropok as we were waiting.. Our room was just next to the common area of the hotel and apparently there was a karaoke session going on and on and on...

I guess it's the age factor as we decided to countdown in our sleep.. However the karaoke session did not seem like it was going to end... Anyway, we ignored and just went to sleep.. Luckily, it ended at around 11.30pm. but there were fireworks going off during midnight which I heard but am too lazy to get up and look.. So that's how we made it to 2017.. haha

We woke up at around 9-ish and head out for breakfast..

Nasi Lemak, Crab Island style where its sambal is made from dried shrimps.. tasty!! It costs RM2 per packet, we ordered 2 to share.. RM4

And because we loved the oyster omelette so much, we decided to the to the same stall for clam aka "lala" omelette, this time we ordered the big one for RM10...

While waiting for the to fry the omelette, the owner of the stall told us that the restaurant we went to yesterday had a lot of bad reviews online and asked how was our experience yesterday.. Besides, there were people smoking around us, it's quite ok.. I am not sure if the food is pricey or not since we didn't compare.. but if I were to visit again, i will give this man (the owner of the omelette stall) a chance and try the food at his restaurant..

We brought our breakfast back to our hotel and ate at the common area beside our room.. and discovered that the view from our room was pretty spectacular though.. we did not even open our window to look..

After breakfast, we packed and checked out from the hotel.. and brought some dried shrimp sambal from the hotel.. they were selling for RM12 per pack. but we bought 5 for RM55..

While waiting for the next speedboat to arrive.. we have 붕어빵 alike ice cream.. rm5 per piece.. a total of RM20 for 4..

One last look at the crabs from Crab Island..

I didn't bother to zoom in but there were plenty of little crabs scurrying around...

And then, we board the speedboat back to Port Klang..

And too a picture with the Golden Giant Crab before leaving..

The Port Klang Train station still has this vintage looking pondok.. In contrast to the modern building on the opposite, see below..

And, that was how i celebrated the crossing from 2016 to 2017..

I sure hope that it will be a good year ahead.. at least be smooth..

I have not been making resolutions for quite a few years now.. should I be making some this year??

We'll see if I will in the next post..

As for now... signing off..

[A]pril Fool??!!

Exactly a week before, I got something that I thought was my first April fool's joke of the year.. which turns out it was not because it became serious and landed me where I am now... In PJ instead of Cyberjaya, sitting in an arm's length cubicle with 2 PCs because I am sharing the cubicle with the night shift people... I miss my super wide and spacious cubicles, i miss my 3 drawers and 4 shelves that stores all my stuff...

Back to why am I here... Last wednesday, as usual, i got ready for work and was waiting for my car pool buddy to come pick me up from work.. while waiting, I picked up my phone and start playing with it.. Good thing i did because I had 2 unread messages.. the latest one was from the car pool buddy asking me if i have heard that the office is closed because the internet and phones were down... the first thing that came to my mind was... April Fool???? but it's 3 days after 1st of april... did this prank got lost somewhere?? Ignoring it, i read the next message that came in 6 something in the morning.. it was from my team leader saying that a fire broke out in the server room and we are not allowed to go to work.. OWH~~~ so it's real... and by that time, I was awake already...

Then, I stayed home for 3 days.. since I am not allowed to go to the office.. the home office software thingy can be installed into my computer so all I can do is check emails... paid to stay at home.. how nice!!

However, my company managed to find a temporary place for us to work... and guess what, it is right next to my old uni block, the place where i did my foundation~~ See how fate brings me back here... At least I know where to have lunch and there are much more choices here than Cyberjaya.. the best thing is, I can reach home within 20 minutes!!! Yay!!

That's all for now

1 week of excitement

An exciting week has just past.... Bear in mind, it's the Air Asia promotion week... It's chaos on the internet especially the website for the airline... I must be really lucky to manage to secure return tickets to Macau next year... As i have planned... I would like to celebrate my birthday in a different country next year... and I actually am on my way to make it work (quote from Tim Gunn)!!

Although it's not the 10 cent air ticket... but i think it's affordable enough... No regrets there... i never knew it was so tiring to book tickets online, especially when there are like thousands of other people out there who are also booking.... i was kicked into the waiting for like a gazillion times before i could actually reach the booking process... but was kicked out again because i was too slow... talk about a panic attack... good thing only 2 of us are going... not much details needed... and everything could be done quick...

after the tickets have been book, the excitement started to sink in... i couldnt help seeking for budget hotels and tourist spots, promotions and stuff for the trip... even though i have more than 10 months to go...

let's move on with something else with my life... I've finished 10 lessons of korean language.. that marks another milestone to one of my goals.. another 10 to go before i take the topik test, which is the korean language proficiency test... i can't believe i'm actually on the way of achieving my goals... it's usually just a frame-up, where i'll just frame the goal up and look at it when i'm free without really taking any action to make it work(i really like this quote)...

today marks the 10th lesson and i guess i'll take a week or 2 off from classes... to revise and get ready before i start again...
한국어를 배워요~~~

I can type without refering to the character's list now... an achievement after 10 lessons of looking up the online korean dictionary...

that's all for now... after 2 months of silence...

Baby.. baby.. baby Oooh~~~ (I don't wanna grow up)

When I say grow up, I mean my age... It's a pain to the number increases every year marking how long have I exist here... However, I wouldn't wanna turn back time or something, I'm not thrilled about going back to my school days... I just don't want the numbers of my age to add, it can stay the way as it is now.. I'm very happy with it..

I have always want to scram off school exams and assignments to step into the working world... earning my own pay cheque.. which is why I always want my study years to be short as possible.. which explains my devastation when i screwed up my PTS... i skipped form 6, a-levels and any other pre U programmes that require more than 1 year..

Now I have started working, I am one of the youngest.... as like I have mentioned that my university years is shorter than the typical STPM route which most of my colleagues took.. I am currently the youngest in my team which I'm enjoying... knowing that i have exceeded certain expectations where people would usually judge someone who have just graduated fresh out of university with zero experience in the society... Although I don't have much experience, being in the production field has really speed things up for me.. I have seen all kinds of people and been at work at all hours you can find on the clock... I will grow old in super speed if i stayed in production full time for another 2 years...

So, I'm really enjoying the attention as the youngest, i guess that's because i have been the eldest in the family ever since I was born, being the youngest seem like a new experience, something that i hardly get the chance to try... For my next birthday, i'll wish that my age will stop increasing and the aging process will be irrelevant in my life... weee...

I feel old everytime somebody tell me his/her age that is younger than me... that includes the time when I was a volunteer at the Youth 10 Festival where everybody are schooling kids, mostly in university or just started pre-U.. i was the only one graduated.. I felt old and separated from the group even though some of us were like a year or two apart...

maybe, being young is just an excuse for my kiddy and childish behaviour like constantly hugging my teddy bear or other plushies on my desk during work... And being super happy when a colleague who is going for maternity leave offer me to adopt her Jack-Jack for 3 months.. I was super thrilled for the whole day...

Guess which is mine...

With a guest around... the others will certainly grab the chance to take photos.. especially when it looks exactly like Mo JackJackJack...

We call him Guest Jack..

Aren't they cute??

when I am supposed to be busy...

I'm here... again... ditching my films studies and tv production 2 notes aside and typing for another post blog for the month... haha... like i said.. the mood of writing blogs will just appear during those very crucial peak periods.. when you really need to make use of every second you have to prepare for it... but the mood is like a bubble.. if you dont appreciate its appearance.. then when it pops.. it will be gone forever... and you will certainly regret the hell out of your life for not making full use of it when it's around.. at least, i do all the time...

speaking of appreciation.. film studies certainly reminds me of a very "unforgettable" subject i have taken last semester which will always be in my memories to haunt me.. it is called film appreciation, criticism and interpretation.. a long name increases the "scariness" of this subject... this sole subject is the verdict of I not getting a first class for my degree.. although i dont seem like i mind a lot about this classy matters.. but the fact is i do CARE... anyway.. a simple mistake could just bring you down from the top to the right bottom underneath the soil where people could step on you... a simple mistake deserves to be forgiven, don't you think?? maybe not for the second time.. but for someone who doesn't know... come on... oh, who cares now?? it's history..

but sometimes i do question the need of interpreting the inner, damn deep till nobody could see or understand meaning that is concealed so well only somebody who really have the utmost passion towards the film could really take the time to guess what message is it trying to convey... however.. sometimes i do wonder... does the director actually really thought of these things?? or it's just actually pure accident or meaningless than we main syok saja and go interpret like nobody's business?? I'm not saying that all are like that.. No no no... don't get me wrong.. this is just another way of me seeing it.. of course i do understand the need of interpreting the art of a film to appreciate.. but what if.. well.. i'm saying, what if there aren't any meaning?? why is it made in a particular way is just according to how the situation allows it to be?? There's no deep, sophisticated style of whatsoever message that is trying to be conveyed... just purely the way it is, there's no explanation or anything... the substance is already there when the director is filming and the director did not see a need for it to be removed or maybe they weren't allow/able to remove it... then here we are thinking the indirect message that it is suppose to convey.. something like that would be kinda funny, wouldn't it??

well.. this is just a joke, a sudden thought that i have will cracking my brain to interpret what a "flower pot" means in a random story... so please dont get offended and say that i am condemning the film appreciators, interpretors and critics... because i am not.. this is suppose to be a random thought to be treated like a joke.. thank you very much... ( sorry if you are offended but i really do not mean to..)

Ok now... time for facebook... haha... aren't i suppose to be studying?? i know, i am suppose to.. but let me collect my earnings from happy island, harvest my plants at country story, feed my workers at restaurant city, play with my pet at pet society first.. once i'm done with that.. i'll do the same using my sister's account collect her earnings, harvest, feed and other stuff... THEN only i'll start organising my notes and start studying... okie...

March with birthday busy-ness

Well.. unfortunately for me.. my birthday will always "coincidently" meet with mid term tests, assignments due.. yadda yadda... stuff that will always take my mood away from celebrating my birthday... it use to be bundles of mid term tests... and however coincident it will be... the subject on my birthday will be Math... sigh~~ of all subjects.. you'll have to pick the subject i dislike the most.. it happened during form 2 and form 4(i think, or is it form 5.. either one).. worst for the latter.. it was add maths..

Then when i was in university.. It has to be some mid term test of whatever presentations or assignment due.. anything could happen just to not make my birthday a day for me to fully enjoy... i remember there was once it's the DJ live show thingy going on... Then it's International Advertising mid term... and now.. it's the communication law assignment due the day right after my birthday... Well.. anything else you would like to say besides luck or fate??

Anyway.. one thing is i skipped a class on my birthday..
well.. no.1 it's my birthday (this reason stands out right itself)
no.2 it's comm tech tutorials... (i guess you know what i mean..)
no.3 the class would usually last for less than 1 hour... (so....)

I have 3 solid reasons.. so off i go...

However... the 616 gang have planned a surprise party for me.. well.. it has been quite some time ever since surprise parties happen to me.. so to be frank.. I WAS SURPRISED...
no.1 because they surprised me the day before my birthday
no.2 i thought it was for someone else...
no.3 It's not my birthday YET..

but anyway.. really appreciate the effort...

so here are some photos... of the celebration...

My cake and me...

My present... Darry the elephant!!

616... Thanks a lot!!! Luv ya!

worn out...

wah~~~ just a sudden urge to ride my bicycle.. so i decided to take my dust-coated "mountain bike" out for a ride... also, i need to post a letter to oolong tea.. so i might as well go to the post box near my house and drop my letter...

so i move out my bicycle... the tyres werent full of air so i took out the foot pump... but somehow dont know why the tyre is still kinda "flat"... after a few rounds of trying i gave up and took the other pump which requires the car engine as a power source... i think the problem is with the foot pump and not the bicycle tyre... after all my tyres are full of air... i hop on and off i go to post my letter..

in the beginning of the journey is still ok... until i met a slope towards the post box.. not 1 but 2 slopes... huhu... after i dont know how many years of leaving behind my riding skills.. it certainly is kinda scary being unable to control the speed of the bicycle.. it's funny that i didnt notice the slope before... coz i used to drive thru that road... so slope or no slope didnt really make any difference to me...

ok.. letter into the postbox... now here comes the nightmare... going down the slope is scary... imagine going up... it's freaking EXHAUSTING!!!!! gosh... 2 slopes man!!! this is no joke.. after i reach the end of the slope i felt that my legs arent mine anymore.. however there's still quite a distance from my house.. but luckily the road is flat... *puff puff~~

after i reach home... my arms and legs dont feel like mine anymore... dont know why my arms feel like that too... weird~~ do they share the same nerve system???

i know i have not been exercising AT ALL... i guess... this is a sign of me getting worn out...

hands and legs are falling off...

the end is just the beginning

oo... here i am again...

i think most of my course mates are currently celebrating the end of their internship... after 14 weeks of intern life... it is time to get back to studies... but first things first.... we have a final report to complete... sigh... i feel so lazy to start on that...

anyway... just to let you know.. my intern life has not end yet... nono... mine will be ending next month... 15th to be accurate... well, i'm actually extending my internship with my current company... unbelievable??? quite... i thought so too...

i was kinda shocked when they asked me whether i would like to extend my internship... because i am kinda hard headed at times and i tend to answer back when questioned.. hehehe... my bad.. so i thought they wouldnt wanna have such a hard headed "employee" in the company... but anyway, i really appreciate them asking me... well, my hard head is good at banging walls tho... hahaha... anyway, they ask offer me to stay for a week... i said ok... then it became 1 month with an additional amount on to my allowance.. kinda tempting... but its kinda long... although i said i like the work.. but still i need a little break... hehe... my dad is bringing me somewhere by the way during the end of september.. so i guess i couldnt stay so long after all...
then i asked whether is it ok for me to stay for half a month... well, they are ok about that and everyone's happy...

however, i didnt get to ask for the pay though... i sure hope it wont be too little... i am still glad about them asking me to extend... because i was actually planning to since there might be a drama shooting on september, however due to some unforeseen circumstances, the drama shooting is somehow delayed... oh well, i didnt think of extending after that... but i am ok with extending if they want me to... it really does boost my self esteem to think that they are asking coz they need me... hehehehe... although i'm not sure of the actual reason but thinking that way makes me happier... well if they didnt ask i shall not go around asking for it since there might be a hint that they do not need my help after all... so better dont cari pasal... or else its kinda embarassing... hehe...

hehe... so i'll still be back to work next week... and not forgetting a final report to write...
i will still be busy...

XOXO (detailed explanation)

The reason this is repost is due to some people who don’t understand the point of the point and starts giving anonymous rude comments about the points that doesn’t even exists in the post… besides… I think that fella is banned from hk now coz he criticize hk so much until one of my friends said that he should just stay in an egg and grow there because hk is just a small portion of the real world…

Ok… if you totally understand my previous post (XOXO) regarding this.. I think there’s no need for you to continue reading but you still can just for the fun of it.. because at first… XOXO was just my perception about certain things and I am not talking about anybody in particular… but now this is directed to the anonymous in person… however I doubt that fella will be reading this post after leaving such shallow opinions…

Ok… let’s start….

As i said... i have rants to get on with... at first i thought that it might just spoil my mood... but second thought... timing isnt really an issue... so i decided to pick this lovely morning... to release some of my stuff... which maybe some people are very curious about... wahahahah... (*winks)

–ok… this paragraph doesn’t need explaining, does it??? Ok… in case some people still don’t understand.. I’ll just make it clear that I have made a clear point that this is just me letting out several negative stuff that I have within me… so those who are interested can go on reading… those who are not, then they should stop because it will ruin their lovely morning.. –

first things first... i would like to say... everybody is not perfect... everybody have their flaws and weaknesses... but its up to them whether to improve or change or not... and its up to you whether you could accept it or not... sometimes a flaw may not seem such a big problem to person A but it's a great big deal to person B... so who's problem is it??? the person with the flaw or person B??? in my opinion it has to be person B... because it is not a big deal to other people... so you either learn to accept... or just totally ignore... i understand it is hard to accept something you dont agree with... but i dont think its necessary to make such a fuss about it.. since some people could stand the way it is... well... in some situations... if everybody couldnt stand the flaw... or a majority couldnt... then the person should do something with the flaw... because its disturbing almost everybody around the person... but if there's just a minority... maybe it's the flaw that makes out who you are... makes you unique.. makes you special... what's the fuss???

–hmm…. Here I’m saying that sometimes when you couldn’t accept somebody’s flaw… you should not straight away go on and blame the person for not being perfect… as stated “everybody is not perfect… everybody have their flaws and weaknesses…” instead.. maybe you should ask yourself that is it your problem because you couldn’t tolerate with such small matter??? Ask around and see if its such a big deal.. if its not… then maybe you should do something yourself and not go around and blame others… sometimes a flaw will make someone unique… in case some people don’t understand this again… I’ll give an example… jay chou… he has been criticized a lot for not being able to pronounce his lyrics clearly… but then… look at how many fans he have… since the majority could accept… then it’s not such a big problem after all… and now… it has became his signature… however… he did put some effort on his pronunciation… but somehow people prefer him not doing that… haha.. –

well... everybody has a right to voice out when they see something they dont agree with... but i shall also say... they also the right not to... so just see how it goes... if they decided not to say anything... may they can still bear with it... and they also have their ways of avoiding it to affect themselves... so why make a fool???? and ruin things that are in a good condition???

–here it means that people have the right to open their mouths or not… so any third party is not suppose or allowed to force anybody to voice out… and sometimes when people don’t mention maybe it means that people don’t think the matter is important enough to express… and maybe people just don’t want to ruin things that are going on nicely all the while…. So people are just trying to be nice… which force them not to be??? –

i shall also say that... talking behind people's back is not a good thing... but sometimes... there might be a reason behind that... although it may not be strong enough to support but then... sometimes its really better that way... i have experience... that people cannot really handle critisms although they claim they could... in the end... friendships... gone... everything... vanished.... so why pretend as though you could when in the reality you couldnt???? and as a result... break things that arent suppose to be broken???

–oooo… here comes the very “misunderstood” part… I shall highlight it.. talking behind people's back is not a good thing… so that’s what I said… however… there might be reasons behind it.. maybe they don’t wanna spoil the relationship they have with the person… because criticizing in front of that person may hurt his/her feelings… and they will turn defensive.. and fight back… things in the end turn out ugly and not the way anybody has expected… -

i stand my views as if i dont like people doing that to me.. i will not do that to others in the first place... like i hate being framed... so at least i will not be framing people for what they have not done.... but however... i never said that i hate people talking about things behind my back... honestly i'm ok with that... ok... maybe i'll be a little uncomfortable... but come on.... who likes to be the topic of gossips??? i'm still ok with it... because the mouth belongs to others... i cant do anything about it... although... due to my very "kepo"-ness... i am always curious about what they have to say about me... well... if i get to know it...

–ok… here’s another “misunderstood” part… I said “if i dont like people doing that to me.. i will not do that to others in the first place...” so I said that… I can still accept people talking behind my back because I do that too… well.. I cant expect people to respect me if I don’t respect people on the first place.. so I’m fine with people talking behind my back… good or bad… and I don’t see it as backstabbing because they are telling the truth about what they don’t like about me… and those are not my secrets… so since it’s the truth… how can you say its backstabbing??? Backstabbing means betrayal.. misuse of trust… like I trust them with a secret and they go off telling people.. that, to me is backstab… but of course I cant expect everybody… all of my friends to like me 100%... so they are allowed to say and even discuss my flaws with others… when they decided its time for me to know and change… I’ll get to know eventually… if not… they either think it’s just a small matter… or they think I’m hopeless to change… -

hmm... ok let's make it this way... if its a negative thing... and that person doesnt like it... ok.. i'll try my best not to do that in front of him/her.. but that doesnt mean that i could change overnight and completely stop to be a different person.... maybe others could accept so i could express the way i am to the people who can accept... no harm done....

– maybe my command of English is that bad until people don’t understand what I write… maybe I should consider English lessons or something… here I said that if somebody doesn’t like me doing something… hmm.. this is vague… let me give an example… A doesn’t like me cursing… I’ll avoid cursing in front of her… but maybe in front of B who doesn’t mind me cursing.. I’ll still curse… because I cant just stop straight away… maybe some people can… but I need some time… I’m a bit slow sometimes… so bear with me..-

its hard to change something that has been comfortably set in you... maybe you could avoid.. but its still in you... like how i dont like malaysian cantonese.... i avoid using the term that were only used in malaysia... but my hong kong friends still say i speak in a very malaysian way... what to do??? its with me all the time.... sometimes they'll say... "hey... you now speak less like a malaysian already... welcome to hong kong!!!".... i'll be like "really??!!! oh gosh!!! i didnt realise!! yippee!!"

–this is just an example that I used to explain the above point.. just to say that I actually can change without realizing… and I’m so sorry to mention hk here… coz it made hk a shooting target… I apologise to each and every hong kong citizen who have come by this blog for unintentionally making it a shooting target for criticisms… and making them feel offended… I’m so sorry…-

same theory... different situations... applicable anytime.... anywhere...

–does this need explanation?? Coz I don’t know how to explain it… I’m just making an assumptions that usually people don’t change overnight but they will change without even realizing it… sorry if its wrong… just my own assumption-

however... i believe people talks about other people behind their backs all the time... good or bad.. it's just a part of mingling with other friends... nobody, i believe... nobody don't talk about the people they know behind their backs... of course unless they are dumb.... cant talk isnt a crime after all... being talked about isnt really as bad as some people think it is... in another way... i think maybe because i'm remembered for something... people know me for something... good or bad... hmmm... that's another thing then.... i'm working in the entertainment industry and we need these "gossips" to survive... no gossips... nothing... there's no word of mouth... then... please take out your wallet and pay for the promotion.. thank you very much....

– well… here I assume that everybody talks… even like when you discuss about stars (I mean singers, actors stars… not star light star bright… no wishes will be granted… thank you very much) I’m sure you couldn’t be talking about brad pitt or tom cruise in front of their faces right??? So that is kinda consider talking behind their backs… but actually when they talk about brad pitt or tom cruise… they are actually spreading their name around… that is why they are so well known… they might be talking about their life-partner change… or they can also be talking about how good looking they are and how good is their acting… this is call word-of-mouth promotion.. which is free of charge… and that’s a really typical thing that is happening in the entertainment industry… people criticize because they don’t know or understand… well.. if these are people who are also working in the industry themselves… I feel very sorry for their naïve-ness…. No.. their density….-

Thank you for your time!!!

BIG PROBLEMS

we handed in our multimedia broadcasting sketchbook on last friday... and guess what... the tutor somehow "stormed" in today and say that there were a hell lot of problems in ALL our sketchbook.... woah!!! i was like "die lo... have to re-do..."

he even said that if he say what's wrong with our sketchbook in the beginning of the class.. he might get bad mood.... what the??!!! is it that serious??? my second thought was... what did we do wrong now??? i wrote the wrong thing for the contents and stuff??? aish... was so worried... until he called us group by group to tell us what's "wrong" with our sketchbook...

First things first.... we should use a clear transparent cover... because we cant find any clear transparent one... we opt for a near transparent cover with circles glittering when you turn them around... ok.... MISTAKE NUMBER 1...

MISTAKE NUMBER 2..... i forgot to remove the damn price tag from the damn black cover!!!! oh s**t la!!! he just have to use the red marker pen and circle the price tag.... and wrote "WHY IS THE PRICE TAG HERE???!!!" What the ****!!! wasted the whole piece of hardcover... 2 pieces actually.... he did the same for the back cover too.... WHAT THE ****!!! you think students now a lot of money is it???? although it's like rm0.80 per piece... but 2 makes rm1.60... and now i have to buy another two... which makes it rm3.20... eh hello.... i didnt buy the board for you to "conteng" ok???!!! if you wanna "conteng" just try the walls in utar... big big white white... nice nice... conteng all you want and see who cares..... now the whole board no use already... cant be used anyway... unless you would like to have it and "frame" up the "conteng-an" of my tutor.....

MISTAKE NUMBER 3.... our content did not start from the top part of the page... due to some unforeseen alignment problems... ah... this one also cannot... aish!!!! just some minor alignment problems.... what's the big deal??? at least its the same for every page... there's a consistency there... so what's the fuss????!! ish ish ish....

MISTAKE NUMBER 4..... in some of our title page... our titles werent "tepat-tepat" in the middle of the page... "oh... ini pun kena!!!" coz maybe i ter-press the spacebar too many times so its not right in the middle... but its still ok for me... aish.... big fuss!!!

MISTAKE NUMBER 5..... our storyboard page have extra boxes there.... so???!!! we drew the boxes first before filling it... how in the world are we suppose to know how many boxes we need??? so of course logically we draw extra.... just because we did not get rid of the extra boxes... you'll have to purposely circle them with red ink... so now we have to re-draw the whole thing.... what the ****!!!!

those are the BIG PROBLEMS about our sketchbook... aish... i thought the problems will be like... your content is wrong.... you left out something or you should color them or something.... so it turns out to be some minor-to-us-but-major-and-crucial-to-the-tutor problems....

so we'll have to retype.... reprint... rebind... repurchase the stuff that the tutor has "suka-suka conteng".... ish ish ish.... so much for saving due to finacial crisis.... with a tutor like this.... how to cut cost????!!!

at first wants us to use caligraphy pens to draw the sketches... ok fine la... i buy caligraphy pen(not cheap wei!!!! rm5 le!!!)... now waste all our papers... covers... hardcover boards... printer ink.... money for printing and binding.... time for redo-ing... can we claim from utar????

that is why i hate design subjects.... its always a waste of money... unnecessary expenditure... what the!!!!

back to reality~~

wog wog... it's 10.15am....

i know i'm thinking too much that people will respond me right after they receive my application.... ya-la.... because when people are desperate... they tend to be very very totally very extremely and extraordinarily naive and sometimes stooopeed....

it's just like when you are trap in the dessert with no water.... you'll always think that water are just a few more footsteps away.... and water will just magically... un-logically appear out of thin air... and end up.... receiving the very harsh, hard-to-accept truth.... that it is just a MIRAGE!!!!

it's the same principle....

i should not be continuing my stupid hopes of getting any respond today... however i'll just pray hard for next week....

okok.. now i'm thinking.. should i try a few more other places??? or just stick to the 3 i'm aiming and just pray hard??? how am i gonna choose if i'm accepted into more than 1 place??? I really am thinking too much now....

i'll just drop this thing off for the weekend and just pray hard and hope that miracles will happen next week.... omitofo.... amen...

woah!!! 3 posts in 1 morning.... a record!!! on the last day of february... and i was saying that there'll not be more than 1 post a week during february.... wahahaha.... i guess i do love blogging after all....

signing off!!!! for real!!!

chickens?? roads??

Why did the chicken cross the road?

BARACK OBAMA:The chicken crossed the road because it was time for a CHANGE! The chicken wanted CHANGE!

JOHN MCCAIN:My friends, that chicken crossed the road because it recognized the need to engage in cooperation anddialogue with all the chickens on the other side of the road.

HILLARY CLINTON:When I was First Lady, I personally helped that little chicken cross the road. This experience makes me uniquely qualified to ensure -- right from Day One! -- that every chicken in this country gets the chance it deserves to cross the road. But then, this really isn't about me.......

GEORGE W. BUSH:We don't really care why the chicken crossed the road. We just want toknow if the chicken is on our side of the road or not. The chicken is either against us, or for us. There is no middle ground here.

JOHN LENNON:Imagine all the chickens in the world crossing the road together, in peace.

BILL GATES:I have just released eChicken2008, which will not only cross roads, but will lay eggs, file your important documents, and balance your check book. Internet Explorer is an integral part of the Chicken. This new platformis much more stable and will never cra...#@&&^(C% .......... reboot.

BILL CLINTON:I did not cross the road with THAT chicken. What is your definition of chicken?

AL GORE:Chicken shall not shit while crossing the road. This is for a green environment.

LEE KUANYEW:We have installed crossing lights at all traffic junctions. All chickens should follow instructions while crossing the road.

SAMY VELLU:Gantry points have been set up. All chickens wanting to cross the road are advised to top up their cash cards first.

NAJIB RAZAK:What chickens? I don't know any chickens... especially those from Mongolia .

ABDULLAH BADAWI:We have to be fair to all chickens. Some want to cross over the road, some do not. ........ Zzzzzz .......zzzzzz ....... Now what were we talking about? Ah yes, chickens. We will form a Royal Commission to decide whether it is right for them to cross the road.

MAHATHIR:Now even non-bumi chickens want to cross the road! How can they disrespect and disregard apa nama bumi chickens? We must be allowed to cross over first. It is our special privilege and no one can challenge that!

ANWAR:We have enough chickens waiting to cross over in September.

SHAHRIR:All foreign chickens are welcome in Malaysia but they must not cross over the road within 50km of the border

Meet... Sausage!!

Usually... blue, momo gray and momo graygray are the only puppydogs around....

Until one day.... sausage arrived!!!
Blue wants to know his new friend... but wonders why cant he stand still???

then he realises that sausage needs support....

and so... he offered support by helping him stand still...

They got along pretty well...

Of course... the grays were also curious about sausage... as he was a little different... he's a balloon puppydog...
he tried to fit in....
and he did nicely.....

a break from emo-ness and and little cheering up will do.... my blue and grays and not forgetting their new friend sausage....

haha... please bear with my childish-ness...
