great experience~~ missing it already

after a total of 6-7 days of hectic shooting... our short film production week has finally come to an end...

day1.... ktar (setapak) .... went back at 9pm...
day2.... Utar (PJ) ... went back at 7 something...
day3 & 4.... Rawang (Cymon's house with a very cute doggie name ah boy... missing it!!!) went back at 9 something on day3 and almost 12 something at day4...
day5.... PV10 (setapak)... went back at 6 something....
Day6... UTAR (setapak), tiff's house (selayang), some random playground at setapak ... went back at 3 something the next morning!!!!

this morning... i reached home at almost 4am... around 3.45am i think.... that's the first time i'm driving back myself so late or maybe it should be "early".... like what yan jan said... we gave a lot of our "first time" to this production....
after reaching home.... i straight away went into the bathroom... wash up... and on the bed i go... finally... i can sleep without the alarm clock ringing during wee hours...

woohoo~~~ that sums up our shooting schedule... it was great great fun!!! and i'm missing it already.... i miss the whole bc5.... anyway... we'll be meeting up again after all our assignments are done.... we'll be celebrating in Jogoya!!!! wooo-hooo!!!

this is certainly a great great experience!!!! i really enjoyed every part of it.... next up... i'll have to finalise the script... wahahaha....

i think the director is currently checking back the tapes.... to see whether are there any no-good takes that requires a "reshoot"... oh-no!!! i sure hope there won't be any... although i said i miss production week... but certainly.... these 2 days are for rushing off my assignments that are due next week.... so better have nothing in the way....


i'll be posting the photos of production once i get myhands on them..... then i'll be posting up day-by-day reports.... hehe... stay tune!!!!


oh-ya... about my internship.... NO REPLIES... ANSWERS... whatsoever... oh gosh!!! i'm so toast.... screwed... finished.... whatever... you name it.....

Well... after like 5 days of shooting... i'm certainly drained out.... but when comes to an end... i'm gonna miss this experience.... although it is tiring and a lot of time and effort has been dumped in... but i really appreciated the whole team effort of my group members... the whole bc5(edaline, krystal, tiff, sus, teck woei, yan jan, jian wen, pei lyn, pei li, whye, new, eelin, evelyn, leiny, soke jing, fong zuan... did i miss anybody???) plus chenghui and jessie....

i was really happy joining a completely new team... excited as well... i have never worked with a whole group of people which i have never worked with and we hardly know each other!! but after discussions, presentations, plannings, shootings and not forgeting nonsense-ing.. we all mix around very well... they have never treated us as outsiders because we were not originally from their tutorial group... nor were we from ktar.... but they treated us as one of them... taught us whatever we asked... entertained us eventhough they were dead tired.... took great care of us.... listened to our opinions.... just too bad we didn't stayed overnight together on wednesday.... because us bc3-ians had classes on thrusday... 3 tutorials from 8am onwards.. they allowed us to leave the group... and rest for our classes while they stayed up all night shooting.... then they usually let us off early when we were shooting in setapak because we stayed far away from setapak... and never mind-ed us not doing anything during shooting except laughing my lungs out and end up being chased off and eliminated in the "laughing survivor" game.... always let us help around although some times it is not really necessary.... they tolerated with our time and tried their best to not make us skip too many classes.... really appreciated that....

although my job as a scriptwriter is only involved during pre and post production... but sometimes i feel bad for not being able to help out during production....

and to the bc5-ians.... we (chenghui, jessie, peitsan) are very very happy and honoured to be working with every single one of you!!!

i finally finish the almost-full script for my short film assignment... sent it to my director and asst. directors already... they make the changes and then it's off to all the other bc5-ians and also jessie plus chenghui....

i'm really looking forward towards this assignment... one thing is because i'm working with people that i have never ever worked with before... excluding peili and eelin coz they were in my moral assignment group last year... anyway... i think i'm so far so good with them.. and i do hope that they feeel the same with me and my 2 fellow bc3-ians....

well.. i'm not done with my job yet.... i still have to write the background plus narration of the story and also the summary... but i'll leave that for later... since i already have the script as a guideline for my summary and stuff... the script is really the backbone of the production.... without the script... they can't carry on with the storyboard... camera angles, lighting angles (lucky, my director told them to imagine them first...in case i couldn't finish the script in time...).. shooting script... location, shooting schedule... call sheet.... etc etc.... so after the discussion on thursday... i straight away started on it... but our assistant director... who is also came out with the main idea for the film said that it somehow did not match her feel... oh-oh... now how??? after a few times of corrections and edits... i finally somehow understand the "feel" she wants... but i still find it difficult to put it in words...

anyway... i finished the script in time... and hopefully it goes ok.... we'll have to get everything done by wednesday because we are required to present the proposal on thursday.... but since we delayed our discussion quite a lot of times... some things will have to rush... we only have less than a week to get things done... we stayed back till 8pm on thursday to discuss the plot and stuff...

working with people who are not from my class pulls me out from my comfort zone as these people don't know you that well and you'll have to show them what you're capable of... where as being in a group with people that has been in the same class with you for 2 years makes things simple and they'll totally know the way you work and everything is already well-adapted...

however... this is a nice challenge for me.. to try out something new and not always trap myself in my comfortable box...

030209... tv filler shooting

i know this is kinda late... but i think i should post something more interesting on my blog instead of quizzes and dull moans of my boring life....


last last tuesday.... 3rd of february.... our assignment group for tv filler.... me, cheng hui, kevin, jessie, joanne, egg, marc and titus went off to melaka to shoot our tv filler... with a great big help from my auntie(duah koh), of course.... weee...

that morning... kevin at first extimated that he'll be reaching subang at around 6.15am... who knows he sudah sampai at 6am!!!! gosh!!!!!

and we meet cheng hui and gang at the seremban R&R at around 7am....


our tidbits... left-overs from yesterday's heaven god prayers ceremony... from egg.... was full.. so didnt really tried even a piece... but they after that gone to waste due to the humid environment in the car... sigh....




the gang plus titus who was holding the camera at that moment... at seremban's R&R.... wee... off to melaka we go!!!!

after reaching melaka it was very early... around 8 something... so we decided to have our breakfast before going off for shooting... where should we go??? shops are normally not open this early.... and its still CNY period.... woooo.... where else but.....
