Macau-Hong Kong Birthday Trip Day 7

It's finally time to head back to reality... Before we leave... here's a last look of our hotel.. Metropark Macau.. really nice!! We booked it during the flash sale in Agoda.. it was around rm170 per night!! A great bargain for a 4 star hotel in Macau..

My breakfast was the leftovers from my birthday dinner treat from Valer.. I bought some bread to eat with the curry..

And then, we took the taxi to the airport... One thing about Macau.. there's are no subways.. although the bus service were pretty convenient but subways are more straight forward... anyways... time to bid goodbye to Macau and mark the end of my birthday trip..

Oh well... Here I am 2 years later trying my best to finish up this travel post...

I shall mark its end by showing you the souvenirs I bought from Macau... peanut snacks with black and white sesame, nougats and seaweed rolls...

After 2 years, I finally completed this!!

Signing off in relief..

Macau-Hong Kong Birthday Trip Day 6 -Part 4

In Macau, visiting hotels can be a tourist activity as well... The hotels in Macau are all super interesting... I guess it's their strategy to attract customers to their casinos.. and whilst the "gambler" is having fun in the casino, the "non-gamblers" could enjoy themselves with the other activities in the hotel...

Besides, hotels in Macau offers free shuttle buses so it's very convenient.. just hop on and it will bring you to its hotel..

Since we didn't have much time left, we decided to just go to The Venetian... Very photo-worthy~~

Oh, and every hotel has its own shopping mall... so we could look at shops while enjoying the imaginary feel of Venice...

This bear was dancing with the headphones on... super cute!!

The alien from toy story!!

This little guy reminds me of Torto.. Resisted the urge of buying it because I have already graduated years ago.. no point getting myself a graduation doll when I am not even graduating..

Behold, photos of The Venetian~~

Ah yes, had to do the washroom mirror selfie thingy.. and I know I am very very bad in taking selfies.. I can't help it from looking weird... sigh..

I assume this is the Manchester United mascot?? It's cute and I took photos just to ask my brother if these are Manchester United's mascot... Which reminds me... I haven't asked him!!

More photos of The Venetian~~ A very interesting place and photo-worthy

After going rounds.. we finally left the Venetian and head back to our hotel.. before that, we stopped and have dinner at a restaurant near our hotel..

My beef noodles.. Nice.. but I am not picky with the taste of food... so you will need to try it for yourself to judge...

HP and her fried spaghetti... and she was HUNGRY...

Then, we called it a day... and marking the end of our trip.. I get to soak in the bathtub again!! Good thing about hotels.. they have bathtubs.. hehe..

Stay tune for the last post of this trip..
Yes, there's still one more..
I still have a few hours in Macau before I head back to KL the next day though!! blog-worthy..

Macau-Hong Kong Birthday Trip Day 6 -Part 3

Oh dear, it took me more than 2 years to actually complete a travel post.. and it is still incomplete!! Oh well, I MUST complete them before my next trip though... and I still have 2 more trips in the list.. Sigh...

Anyway.. after a very quiet visit at the Fisherman's Wharf, I kinda forgot how does it feel like to be in a place crowded with people and hence we move to our next destination..

The A-Ma Temple or also known as 妈祖阁... Since HP is a Catholic so she just hung around outside while I went in for some simple prayers and made some donations..

As you can see, it was a huge difference with the Fisherman's Wharf in the morning... people here, people there, people everywhere...
After that, we head to the famous Yi-Shun Dairy to have their famous steamed milk..

Since I enjoy milk, this is definitely a must-try!! and I loved it!! HP thinks it's too milky, hers was steamed milk with ginger which I thought was too ginger-y... anyway, a must try if you love milk or dairy products!!

This was hp's, as you can see it's abit more yellowish than mine due to the ginger..

It was still crowded even during odd hours like 4-5pm...

Took this photo because hp called it 人间隧道... It sounds like some gateway to heaven when it's actually just an underground passageway.. I even made the photo slightly blurry to match the heaven-ly feel...

And then, we were back here.. before this I would like to say.. the bus drivers in Macao are super kind!! because we did not have enough small change to pay for the bus ride.. seeing us fumbling with our money, the bus driver beckoned us in and said it's ok. It may be out of frustration because we were blocking the way but I believe it's pure kindness!!!!!

Played with the effects on my camera... Instagram were not yet a hit that time..

We bought our souvenirs here and I had quite a feast by sampling roast jerky at all the souvenir shops along the way... the souvenir shops in Macau are like the jewelry stores in HK, 7-11 in Taiwan and cosmetics shop in Korea.. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!

That wraps up my post.. I believe there are 2 more to go...

Stay tuned!
