it was our group assignment screening day today.... but as usual i went to school early to attend my last japanese 2 lecture... which mainly consist of video-watching and revising.... and i bought the text for japanese 3.... so now i'm really broke....
after class... pieggie and bear went to the mamak stall for lunch and i went off to tappers to meet cheng hui... when i was there... i though maybe i should test my assignment dvd to see if it opens or not... speaking about that... i stayed up till 1 something just to burn the damn videos into the dvd... i wasted 3 dvds just for that.... the first time was ok... since everything went successfully and it stated that the burning process in complete... but when i tested it.... much to my dismay..... THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE DISC!!!!! what the??!!! and i have been waiting for more than 1 hour for the thing to burn.... all down the drain la!!! ok fine... i'll do it again.... this time it went halfway and FAILED!!! apa la??!!! but i have to burn it into dvd-video format... so ok... i'll try again... and it's already 1am that time... so i left my computer on to let the thing continue burning while i took my so-called-short-nap and assuming that i will wake up in an hours time.... however... i woke up at 5 in the morning and again... it FAILED!!! why is this happening to me??!!!! so alright.. i'll give a last try and if this fails.. i'll have to find a way to explain to mr beh why my dvd is in avi format and cant be played thru the player.... so i gave the burning process a last chance.... while i get ready my stuff for uni... and lucky me.... it worked!!! finally!!!! phew....
so i went off to school... teman-ed cheng hui (actually it was me who needed company) for a while before going to the japanese class.... our territory (aka the discussion room) has been invaded by someone else this morning!!!!! ooohhh!!!! so instead we switch places and headed to the reading room...
ok back to the old story... i tested the dvd in cheng hui's ah cer but it cant open!!!! oh my tuhan!!! this cannot be... i tested it at home and it works and open fine... how come???!!!! feeling a little freaked out... i headed off the bear's house and tested it again using her laptop.... and thank tuhan... it worked ok... just like the way it worked when i tested it at home... double phew.... after cropping the cover for the disc i went to have a short nap in bear's room.... until i suddenly thought of something and woke up... didn't mohan said that we were suppose to hand in the disc before 1pm??!!! oh gosh!! it's already 1.10pm!!! we rushed off to get our stuff printed and rushed to pb to hand in the disc.... luckily i wasnt late.... "the importance of punctuality" (quoted, mr beh)
during the screening... each group will have to come to the front after their mv finish playing for a Q and A session witht he audience and not forgetting our lecturer mr beh and tutor ms foo.... all went off fine.... ours was towards the end because we were the 2nd last group for shooting.... and yup... mr beh and ms foo asked about the black and white background of our mv... ish!!!! didnt really see that coming.... i told them the reason why we used the black background once is because the singer stood out more in the white background.... maybe i should just blurt out the truth that the black background has several technical errors which was cause by our own carelessness.... however the part where the singer stood out more in the white background was the truth too!!! i'm not lying!!! just that i hid the major factor which i now regret for not saying it.... (luckily no lecturers are reading my blog...) anyway... i would like to stress the fact that i DID NOT LIE!! thank you very much....
after the whole screening session ended... cheng hui and i were walking back to our cars when the rain suddenly pour out of nowhere... it first started as a few big drops... then it turn into cats and dogs!!!! we were like running our way to our cars because there's no time to pull out the umbrella from our bag.... anyway.... i wasnt really wet... caught some drops....
and now... i'm officially free from whatsoever assignments... which also signify the end of the semester.... and aka.... "Finals are Coming!!!!!!" time sure flies.... subjects are getting harder and harder every semester.... so i'll just keep on pace... and try not to drop too hard....
here's my individual assignment.... it's a little lame... i'm aware of that... so please be prepared before watching.... and again.... 30 seconds is just TOO SHORT!!!!
after this... i'll be catching up with my sleep and at the same time cure my panda eyes....
p/s.... i'm so looking forward to my semester break plans.... heeee....
