[J]umped too high and fell hard

Ah, the last day of July.. I could actually squeeze another blog post to fulfill my 3 blogs per month resolution.. I recently realised that I have not been moving anywhere in life.. I am always standing on the same exact spot and before I realise, I am sinking.. if I don't get myself up and move somewhere, I might just be stuck here forever and that's my life... No, that is too scary to picture..

I had dreams.. HAD... I put them aside after realising that it is too hard to be fulfilled and settled into a comfortable option... Not really a wrong decision but it was not right either... I have things that I really enjoyed doing and wanted to do it forever... But base on current circumstances, I could not make it a part of my life... it could only be a pass time and self amusement... That is not really what I have in mind...

So, I decided to take a step out and try to change.. but I took a leap, too confident of myself that I will certainly be out of this hole... in the end.. I dropped back in.. deeper than before... That was devastating... really devastating... and when I thought I could never leave this hole.. a hand appeared to pull me up.. but before I was fully out of the hole, the hand let go.. I guess, this is a sign telling me that I should get out of the hole on my own and solve my own problems...

I am still partially stuck in the hole.. waiting for the chance to get out of here for good... Hopefully I could... soon....

That's all for today..

Macau-Hong Kong Birthday Trip Day 5 -Part 2-

Our ferry reached Macau during noon... apparently, our hotel have shuttle service from the jetty but not the jetty we were at.. yikes!! so we asked around and someone suggested us to hop on the Wynn shuttle and then go to our hotel from there.. We reached Wynn but was too clueless of what to do, we just grabbed a cab and let it steer all the way to Metropark Hotel..

After dumping our stuff, we head out for lunch.. have not ate anything since breakfast... craving for pork chop burgers.. thinking of it is making me hungry now... ish...

we wandered around

had lunch and continued walking around.. it was drizzling slightly.. lucky for us, I brought my faithful old umbrella...

The st Mary cathedral... I haven't really been in a cathedral before.. it's beautiful..

We initially thought that Milan Station was actually a station, literally speaking...

because we were searching for train stations to make traveling easier.. trains are always easier to understand than buses... then when we saw that it was actually a shop selling fashion items, we felt cheated~~ huhu...

And then we continued walking around... there's a lot to see around here...

I initially had plans with a friend who is working in Macau to meet up today... but I haven't got a smart phone or has a chance to access the internet or any mode of communication with her... Feeling a little tense, i suggested going back to the hotel to contact her... or else both of us on an unfamiliar country, there is no way we could find each other...

and.... fate arrives.. we just walked into her here...

We were walking and i heard someone called my name... I don't know how in the world did this happen but it happened... it was my friend, Valer... on the streets... We walked into each other without even contacting.. this trip is getting magical.. just like what happen with oolongtea when we were in hk.. and now in Macau too... I am liking this place!!!

My friend, Valer brought us to the ruins of st paul... and we did what tourists will do... photosssss

That's my friend, Valer right behind...

The view from the stairs...

Alright.. that's all for now.. the next post about the trip will be my birthday celebration~ which I am not sure when will it ever be up..

Signing off for now..

[I]t's mid July now and I have nothing to update about so I suppose I could do a tag :)

Ah yes.... the fact that I have blogged 4 posts last month has left me so pleased with myself that I forgot it is now July and I am suppose to blog another 3 posts for the month... anyway, there is something I would like to blog about but I am still hanging around for the results.. will blog about it as long as I know the outcome.. the wait is kinda killing me though...

Oh well, I have to blog about something... so I decided to do a tag.. and I had never hide the fact that I am a Harry Potter fan, so behold, the Harry Potter tag~~~

1) Favorite book - I initially liked Prisoner of Azkaban because that was the first book I knew from the series.. a friend was reading the chinese version of it in school so i flipped it, got interested and decided to get the original english version... I still love Prisoner of Azkaban a lot but now I am a bit torn between this and Goblet of Fire after I started writing the fanfiction.. OK, I still love Prisoner of Azkaban...

2) Favorite movie - Er... Chamber of Secrets, I guess.. that was the only movie that I have watched in the cinema.. I watched the rest on DVD... The last one was good too, Deathly Hallows part 2 but too many people died so I guess I shall stick to Chamber of  Secrets... I actually like Goblet of Fire too, what's with me and GoF?? I kinda liked GoF because there were a lot of new characters finally appearing.. Fleur, Viktor, Cedric(Robert Pattinson before he was Edward), Cho, Barty Crouch Jr, Lord Voldemort(the nose-less version), Madame Maxine, Karkaroff.... but, I better stick to Chamber of Secrets...

3) Least favorite book - Order of Phoenix... because Harry is angry all the time and Sirius had to die..

4) Least favorite movie - Erm.... Half Blood Prince... I actually did not not like any of the movies but this was my least favourite one...

5) Parts of the books/movies that made you cry - Dobby's death...

6) Twilight vs. Harry Potter... - Er... I did not follow the Twilight Saga but I prefer Robert Pattinson a wizard than a vampire... If that's what the question meant...

7) If you could hook up with any HP character who would it be? - If it's based on the movies, it'll be Cormac Mclaggen since the movie did not show too much of his self centred-ness..

8) Favorite character - you know you are too tied up with your fanfic with your fictional character when it becomes your favourite character.. Anyway, if I really have to choose... I actually like Cedric Diggory.. not as in the Robert Pattinson's Cedric Diggory but the book's Cedric Diggory... He was the ultimate perfect guy, good looks, great personality, a gentleman, very noble and a talented wizard else how would he be selected for the Triwizard Cup??... how could you not like him?? Besides the fact that he died young.. huuuu tragic~~

9) What would your Patronus be? - despite my fear towards those flying-feathered species.. I actually thought it would be a Falcon..

10) If you could have the Resurrection Stone, Invisibility Cloak or the Elder Wand which one would you choose? - Invisibility Cloak.. I don't need to bring anyone back from the dead, nor I need to win battles.. but I always wanted to be able to turn invisible...

11) Are you upset with any parts left out in the films? - Not really.. because whatever that was left out I could easily picture it in my mind.. They did take out a lot from the books so that the movie will not overrun but I am fine with it.. *added at a later time* I was actually looking forward to the scene where Dudley told Harry that he does not think that Harry is a waste of space... A heart warming scene indeed, i think it was filmed but not included in the movie... I wonder why I forgot about this when I was writing this.. hoho...

12) What House would you be in? - Ravenclaw! *Eagle shrieks

13) Favorite subject at Hogwarts. - Charms

14) Favorite professor. - Professor Flitwick

15) IF you could meet any member of the cast who would it be? - Only one??? I could not decide between Tom Felton or Katie Leung... or Freddie Stroma... If, I really could meet one.. I would like to meet Katie Leung...

16) If you could do one spell in real life what would it be? - the extension charm!!! So that my cupboards will not run out of space!

17) Have you played any of the video games? - Unfortunately, no.. Unless you count Pottermore..

18) IF you were on the Quiddich team which position would you play? - Beater... I think I am better at hitting bludgers than chasing, passing and blocking the quaffle or seeking the snitch..

19) Were you happy with the ending? - Too many people died.. but they somehow have to, to keep the story moving... I am pretty happy with the ending...

20) How much does Harry Potter mean to you? - I spent like, years of my life creating a fanfiction base on it.. It does mean a lot... I am still saving to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando and the Warner Bros Studio Tour in London...

Okay, that's the end of the tag...

[H]appy times has come to an end

I shall just start this post by saying I am back in Cyberjaya... I have always liked Cyberjaya since I started working here despite the long drive and empti-ness of the area... but being back in Petaling jaya made me realise that there were a lot more advantages working close to home... the only main concern about PJ is the parking but since parking was provided by the building, it was not an issue at all... so there nothing to worry about.. the journey is shorter.. occasional traffic jams but as long as you have the grasp of time, you will manage...

Leaving PJ was like leaving a place that I have felt comfortable with... Not to say that CBJ wasnt comfortable but it was closer to home.. a 20 minute drive from PJ compared to a 40 minute drive from CBJ is a huge difference.. especially seeing the fact how much I love staying at home... the sooner I could see the rusty gates of home, the better it is...

Okay, besides that... one of my favourite games in Facebook is shutting down.. It's actually already shut down.. you now know how long i took to write this post.. Pet Society had its last day on Facebook on 14 June 2013... I am going to so miss my D-Ken.. he has been my pet for almost 5 years already... here's proof!! I can't imagine something that has been accompanying me for 5 years is now going to leave me... That's like a fifth of my life!!!

I fed him full every single day and dressed him up nicely.. Bought some nice furniture from the shops to redecorate the house.. Oh ho ho ho.. this is all so painful... All the time spent playing with him, feeding him, buying stuff for him... and now, it's time for him to go... sobz...

Here are a few of my favourite photos from Pet Society...

I saved a whole lot of Pet Society Cash (the ones you need to buy using REAL money.. or like me, would never spend money for something i could not touch.. you can log in everyday and earn 1 PS cash after every 5 consecutive times you log in) for this... The seven dwarfs that were so cute.. I spent all my hard-earned PS cash on them...

My Harajuku room... Although D-ken is a boy but i assume Harajuku is unisex although it's all pink and purple.. I even added the harajuku frame for the photo...

Oh, the wizarding theme once happened in Pet Society... I thought I had more furniture and decorations but this is all I could find in my 99 pages-long storage... Oh well... can you see the Dumbledore-alike doll on the chair?? and the Voldemort-alike doll on top??

The furry-Flintstone room... A crossover between the Muppets and Flintstones...

The fruity-citrus room... and the jello-thingy that d-ken loves to bounce on...

There were even more furniture for more rooms but I didn't have time to redecorate using all of them.. so these are a few of my favourites.. Feeling sad already for not being able to see my D-ken anymore... sigh.. Goodbye my little friend.. I hope you enjoyed the house and all those stuff I bought for you.. I really enjoyed your company.. BYE!!

[E]xtra books???

As I have mentioned last month, my company has been temporarily moved to PJ... and next week will be our last week here.. NOOOOOOO!!!! After being here for 2 months.. I kinda enjoyed it here... It's much more closer to home and there are no tolls in between... my only woe about being in PJ is the limited parking but since parking is provided.. I would not mind staying...

Anyway... moving woes aside.. There was an MPH warehouse book sale at the MPH warehouse which is less than 3 minutes walk from my company~~~

And of course, I love book sales.... Not sure if I love reading THAT much but I just LOVE book sales... and there is no way I am going to miss this one.. when it is just so close to where i work... but my plan was to go there on the second day.. for no apparent reason... I just thought that i should go during the next day.. But.....

This changed everything!!!

In case you can't see... Those are Gossip Girl on sale.. a whole lot of them... That photo was sent to me via Whatsapp in order to tempt me to go to the book sale... and... Oh well, that worked!!!

I took off and went to have a look... grabbed a few titles from the Gossip Girl series.. but it wasn't complete.. so went there a few more times to collect all the titles from the series... It took me quite a while to search... since there were a few boxes like the ones above with the books and not all the books were in the boxes... some of them were randomly arranged on the shelves.. I had to scan through the dozens of shelves and thousands(I guess there were that many) of books searching for the one or two title that I was missing...

And, I finally managed to locate all the titles from the boxes and shelves..

Am really proud of myself... I managed to locate the needle in the haystack!!! I guess being a production editor does help me spot things faster.. yeay!!

Oh well, if I say that I just bought the Gossip Girl series from the warehouse sale and nothing else.. I doubt anyone will believe me... and yes, I did buy a few more titles.. they were all rm5 each.. How could you resist???

I am just such a fan of chic-lits... especially those that were made into series or movies... swept The Princess Diaries off the shelves.. I love Meg Cabot too but I need to control my budget after getting the whole set of Gossip Girl.. There were a lot more titles there but I tried my very best to keep my hands off them.. so it's just these three...

The Carlyles are a spin-off from the Gossip Girl series.. and I actually bought one by accident when I was picking up the Gossip Girl titles... After realising this, I decided to just get the whole set... since they were all available there..

And more random titles... I think I enjoy buying books more than I enjoy reading them...

The one at the bottom is Narnia, fyi...

That's all folks
