heyoo....
i'm back to battle against the spiderwebs around the corners of my blog...
oh gosh... i cant think of anything to write.... total blank-ness
ok... i'll just grumble about my unlucky-ness these few days...
let's start with yesterday.... all begins with cultural and religious studies.... the tutor wrote down all the assignment titles on the board... 7 of them... we(my assignment group members) were pondering around a certain "datuk gong" topic.... all of us were like... "what in the world in this "datuk gong" thing???"... "better not get that topic.."
we were all aiming to get the malay wedding procedure topic...
but!!!!!!!
when its time to draw lots.....
guess what????
look like this "datuk gong" guy really like us... as we got "datuk gong"... no further questions asked....
ok... this was still ok because i found an article about "datuk gong" and its quite informative as its complete with the references as well... so now we know what book to look for....
NEXT!!!
mass media and society.... another draw lots session about assignment topics.... there were 2 topics to choose (draw, to be accurate) from.... which is MUSIC genre.... and reality TV.... well... all 4 group members in my assignment group know nuts about music.... ya.. we do listen to music but we dont go into details about the genre and stuff... we just listen to what we like....
and guess what??? (you're right!!)

i know some of you love music.... and will be wondering why am i making such a big fuss for getting that topic because "music is nice ma..."
i agree music is nice... but the problem is.... i don't know any other thing about music besides the tadpoles on the 5 lined ladder.... how am i going to be able to differentiate the genres???!!! i dont even know how many genres are there to choose from..... help!!!!
just my luck as i'm the one who drawed both of the topics.... ish ish....

well, duno what to say but u'll survive..
well may be the outcome will turn out quite interesting and u might be glad u did those unfamiliar topics..
humans always want to continue doing thigns they are familiar with...and fear things they are unfamiliar with...my prof always say..the best way to make urself learn is to choose a topic u are most alien with...then u'll learn (like u, we have essay to prepare to each modules...and we have the freedom to choose as well, so how well we allow ourselves to learn is all our own choice...if u get what i mean)...nevermind if u dont score well, but u know u learn more then the others who keep choosing topics they are familiar with...
welcome to the world of learning...(yah, i know its frustrating sometimes)
oh btw panda, forgot to say..hehe, check out ka lok's blog...he said he'll be involved in the filming of a movie..!! something exciting i guess, we'll catch him on the big screen soon ;-)
