 For you, the internet is like your personal library. And you know more facts than fifty normal humans. Your brain is basically lot a computer at this point. You have a lot of information stored up there. You spend hours looking up obscure information and learning things. If you have question, you always Google it. You can't help but be a bit of a know-it-all. You can answer everyone's frequently asked questions. |
Currently, life has been pretty "un-happening"... it's so "un-happening" that i have nothing to write on my blog.... my february posts total is just 2 for the past 2 weeks... boy... that's so not like what i have planned... anyway... i'm back up here to update about my life...
last tuesday... our assignment group of 8 went off to melaka to shoot our tv filler.... i know i have mentioned this before... this certainly shows how boring my life is.... it was hot in melaka during our shooting... but it was still ok for me... i have been through hotter days.. when the temperature can straight away cook you up.... shooting went off quite smoothly... we did enjoyed ourselves there... and everything was done on time... we left melaka after lunch and dessert at around 2 or 3 something....
then here comes the torture... editing!!!! i'm not really good at editing... actually i CAN'T edit.... i don't have the skills and creativity to add effects and stuff... usually it will be all plain and dull... which explains the video i made for whom-it-may-concern.... but lucky thing is... i'm not the editor!!! wahahahaha.... after a whole week of rearranging videos.... cut and paste.... arranging the sound to the video... recording the narration.... recording the narration again... and again.... because dont know why it cant open the first time... well.. it can be open but there's no sound... so what's the use of a sound file without the sound???? record again!!!! and finally.... our filler is almost done.. what is left is the subtitles and my editor will get it done tomorrow... wee-hee!!!
next shooting assignment will be our short film.... well... the discussion will be on next week... so nothing has been done currently... just that i have to think of a storyline to contribute to the discussion... if you think that creating a storyline out of the blue is easy.... think AGAIN!!!! we do not only have to let our imagination run wild... besides that, we'll have to think practical... like are the props easily available and accessible??? does the location exists??? do we have the budget??? can the talents deliver??? etc etc.... so we'll have to think realistic-ly... so that means don't let your imaginations run too wild or it will be hard to catch....
maybe i could refer to any previous works.... but of course... look out for the popular ones... because you'll be known as a copycat if your idea to too similar.... look for the least popular stuff... then the smaller the possiblity of you being called as a copycat... mind you... some not-so-popular production have great storyline!!!! but... i still can't think of anything.... how???
