[D]reams

This a phrase that I think most people will always say, "If only I am rich...."
Oh well, this is something that I have been saying all the time when i see something I like or want... and people will just give me a dream-on look that totally bursts the bubble of my fantasies...

And then, i came across this site which seems like a total dream to me... as people who have been reading this blog would have known that I love Harry Potter and have always dream of going to Hogwarts.. Which Harry Potter fan is not waiting for their Hogwarts acceptance letter to go to Hogwarts??? Poor mail service of various countries, they have been framed countless times for losing Hogwarts' letters.. when they obviously did not... or did they??? Hmmmmmmm....

Anyway, it is pretty obvious that I don't have $2699 (i assume it's US dollars) to spare... or any extra cash for a flight in to London... from 27 October until 2 November...

It will be so cool to get myself into London and kinda live an English life for like a week or so... The thing I always loved about travelling is I could walk on a foreign street and try to act as though I am not a tourist and blend into the crowd, whereas I am actually going to tourist spots for sight-seeing... so much for blending into the community...

Oh well... I guess I could write out the itinerary as though I joined the trip... just for self amusement... so please bear with me...

So.... if I were to join to the tour.. I will be boarding a flight to London...

London is still in my 10 places to go before I die list... At least I could go see the Tower Bridge that is not falling down...
.........
.........
........
fine, that's lame...

However, there will be a welcome dinner to start the journey... I sure hope it will be like the Welcome Feast during the start of semester in Hogwarts, where you get to see the Sorting~~ Maybe the participants could be sorted into their respective houses... Ravenclaw all the way!!!

The next day, the participants will get to visit the London Film Museum.... I wiki-ed it, it features the original props, costumes and the sets of film... I could spend hours here... I am starting to love film museums since i visited the Harry Potter exhibition last year... and I must splurge on an audio guide.. a museum visit will never be complete without a tour guide or an audio guide because looking at exhibits without knowing the background of it feels like spaghetti without the sauce.. So, I must chase away the cheapskate in me and get an audio guide... it will be worth it~~

Then, there will be a panoramic tour of London in search of Harry Potter film locations.. The hunt really sounds fun.. we will be in an air conditioned coach.. if the coach is something like the Knight Bus, the whole journey will be even more memorable~~ (minus the sudden brakes and turnings.. the passengers might puke their lunch)

Not forgetting, the iconic Platform nine and three quarters at the King's Cross Station... The entrance to the magic..

Day 3, we get to visit Warner Bros. Studio Tour of The Making of Harry Potter.. This is going to be the best experience a Potterhead could get because you get to see behind-the-scenes, experience the sets and exhibits of the film.. I think there's Butterbeer!!!! Just thinking of this really excites me, there'll be sets like the the Gryffindor boy's dormitory, Hagrid's hut, Umbridge's office, the Great Hall... these are the sets I saw during the Harry Potter exhibition in Singapore last year.. I guess it would be somewhat the same but bigger and a lot more exciting with interactive exhibits to play with.. This is gonna be a hell of an experience!!!

Christ Church College is the Great Hall set... Imagine the Halloween Feast or Christmas during the Yule Ball... I think its interiors were also used as the interiors at Hogwarts besides the Great Hall.. it will be like stepping into Hogwarts..

The Bodleian Library... This looks a bit like Gringotts.. Hang on.. google-ing.. Oops.. my bad... it was the  Hogwarts library...the exterior does resemble Gringotts though...

We also get to visit New College that was the set of the courtyard, there's a huge tree there, if i remember correctly, it was the place Harry told Cedric about the dragons during the Triwizard Tournament... and a corridor...if you could recall in Goblet of Fire, the students gathered there to see the arrival of the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang..

Day 4, off to Lumley castle.. i think this is the set of Hogwarts.. a really magnificent castle.. it overlooks the River Wear and Durham County Cricket Ground which I assume is the Lake and the Quidditch pitch in the movie.. I think~~ besides, we get to stay here!!! staying in the castle is like staying in Hogwarts... I wonder if the rooms will be like dormitories with common rooms.. if they are, that will be superbly perfect!!!

Day 5... we get to take a vintage steam train, the Hogwarts-Express alike passing by routes used in the mvie for the Hogwarts Express... and the Goathland station, I assume, will be Hogsmeade station..
The journey ends n Whitby(Oh, one of my colleague's kampung!!) Besides, the Whitby Museum has the Hands of Glory that Draco used in Half-blood Prince...

We get to celebrate Halloween on that day too!! If only this could be done in one of the Great Hall sets.. that will be so much fun!!!

Day 6... the Durham Cathedral... according to lexicon, it was the Transfiguration classroom, and several sets seen in Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets.. check out lexicon
walking around the cathedral give you the feeling of walking on the Hogwarts grounds, making you feel like a real student...

Day7 is when all the magic ends.... breakfast and back to London..

I want to repeat that I did not participate in the tour.. I was just writing this for self amusement because I really wanted to go~~

In the meantime... I'll just continue my journey as Janet Hayden....

So that's all for my dream travel... now it's time for a real dream.. off to sleep I go..

[C]areer talk

Speaking of careers... I have always dream of a career in showbiz, being a scriptwriter has been my life goal since I was 10... So, I was certain that I could adapt to the life of showbiz, write stories and deal with the productions crew and actors, seeing them present the stories that has been rolling around in my mind into real life images that everybody could see and understand, instead of me being the only person enjoying the story...

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to leave the showbiz industry and venture into another field that I never thought I would venture into... although I do not hate the work that I am doing now... but I still miss productions... most of the times.. To get back in, is kinda impossible... so, the current situation, I accept..

Then.... some things that were not in my initial career plan eventually appeared... I believe many of us have thought of being a teacher once when we were little.. Since I saw how problematic some students may be, i have ditched the idea to be a teacher... However...... I happened to be one now...

I am currently teaching my first batch of students... halfway through the syllabus now... So far, I think I am doing ok...

That's all for now..

Macau-Hong Kong Birthday Trip Day 5 -Part 1-

It's my birthday and our last day in HK...
On a side note, I know my birthday was almost 2 months ago and this was last year's birthday.. I'm very sorry for the delay..

Alright, back to the story... We had our final breakfast in HK... I always loved their breakfast sets...

Hp's macaroni and bun... their macaroni's are usually in soup rather than in thick gravy.. I guess that's the difference between the east and the west..

My pork slice spaghetti and milk tea~~~ slurps

After breakfast... We strolled around and went back to the hotel for check out....
Good bye to my room key..

While waiting for hp who was in the washroom... I asked the receptionist if I could get a taxi downstairs.. It was just a random question i decided to ask just to clear the awkward-ness of standing in front of the counter not having anything to do.. I'd only expect her to answer a yes or a no and maybe a suggestion for a better spot to hire taxis..
She asked me where am i heading.. I told her I was going to the jetty to catch a ferry to Macau.. and she suddenly become quite agitated and told me to not take the taxi because it's expensive and suggested me to take the MTR instead...
That wasn't my plan so I just nod and say ok, thinking that I will just hire a taxi later when I get out...
However, being very very friendly... she decided to take us to the station and taught us which station to get off and how to get to the jetty after that... She shoo-ed us into the station and didn't leave until we bought our tickets to the station (we returned our octopus card the previous day so we had to buy single trip tickets).. So, we had to get on the MTR and get to the jetty...

We bought our tickets via a travel agent and got a cheaper rate.. our train was set to board at 1pm so we waited...

Here's a last look at HK... and off to Macau I go...

Part 2 coming up... soon, hopefully...

[B]ack to the Future

Life.... is full of regrets... We regret doing something, regret not doing it at all or regret not doing it properly... Regret saying something or regret not saying it at all...

Whatever it is, the only thing left to be done is suck it up as life moves on... There is no turning back to change it as time only moves forward and stops for no one...

So, you will have to bear the consequences of whatever action you have done and the choices that you have made...

Since there is a reason why we could not turn back time...

It is because.....

be-cause............

............

......

...

We have past the "Back to the Future" time frame... We can no longer go back anymore...

*Snorts*

Hey there, sorry for the lame-ness but I have been wanting to tell a joke about this ever since I realised that 2013 is the year Marty McFly arrived in Back to the Future but I just could not think of something that could relate to it...

This idea just suddenly popped up in my mind which is to start it with something serious and end it with a snort...

Anyway, Happy Friday!! TGIF!!

[A]pril Fool??!!

Exactly a week before, I got something that I thought was my first April fool's joke of the year.. which turns out it was not because it became serious and landed me where I am now... In PJ instead of Cyberjaya, sitting in an arm's length cubicle with 2 PCs because I am sharing the cubicle with the night shift people... I miss my super wide and spacious cubicles, i miss my 3 drawers and 4 shelves that stores all my stuff...

Back to why am I here... Last wednesday, as usual, i got ready for work and was waiting for my car pool buddy to come pick me up from work.. while waiting, I picked up my phone and start playing with it.. Good thing i did because I had 2 unread messages.. the latest one was from the car pool buddy asking me if i have heard that the office is closed because the internet and phones were down... the first thing that came to my mind was... April Fool???? but it's 3 days after 1st of april... did this prank got lost somewhere?? Ignoring it, i read the next message that came in 6 something in the morning.. it was from my team leader saying that a fire broke out in the server room and we are not allowed to go to work.. OWH~~~ so it's real... and by that time, I was awake already...

Then, I stayed home for 3 days.. since I am not allowed to go to the office.. the home office software thingy can be installed into my computer so all I can do is check emails... paid to stay at home.. how nice!!

However, my company managed to find a temporary place for us to work... and guess what, it is right next to my old uni block, the place where i did my foundation~~ See how fate brings me back here... At least I know where to have lunch and there are much more choices here than Cyberjaya.. the best thing is, I can reach home within 20 minutes!!! Yay!!

That's all for now

Blogging from A to Z Challenge

I just found out about this challenge and thought that it is a really good idea to keep ideas flowing..

Of course, judging on my blogging momentum, I will not be joining this challenge.. Instead, I will just adapt the idea into my blog titles so that when I feel like blogging but have nothing in mind to blog about (this happens really often), I could at least depend on something for ideas.. So just stay tune for (hopefully) more frequent posts..

Presents~~

As I have mentioned, my birthday this year is full of celebrations... My first present came 10 days after my birthday... from my team mates from work.. we had a small team event which consists of Nandos for lunch and a game of Pictionary... And of course... My present...

The top of my present.. I actually opened it before I took photo because I only took photos after the event.. the present was give during the event and I was required to open it.. Oh, I never mentioned that I don't like ripping wrappers?? I took a good few minutes to reveal what was my present till one of my team mates said, my next present will be in a box where I will just have to open it instead of unwrapping... I just don't know why, I couldn't stand tearing up the wrapping paper... it's just.. not fun... and also, to create suspense among others who are watching.. hahahaha...

My birthday card that was stuck on top of my present, the one with a big yellow bow and birthday wishes from all my team mates...

Want to know what is my present???

It's a pin sculpture~~~ If you are trying to hide your clueless expression, don't worry.. You don't have to do that coz yours truly has been there and done that... until my team mates demonstrated the way of playing with it.. it's some artsy stuff that you can play with.. very unique..

That's the shape of my stapler you are looking at... I suppose it has the most interesting shape among my stationary.. I will just have to put my stapler at the bottom of it and turn it over.. the pixel-like thingies are actually nail-like thingies.. I forgot to take a side view photo of this.. Sorry, If you really want to know what is this, please leave a comment and I will include photos of whatever dimension this thing has.. Oh well, if you have no interest to know, you may also leave comments.. Thank you very much...

Just a week ago, I came across felt wool art after watching a tutorial video from bubzbeauty

Aren't they cute!! And and and, making it looks so simple from here... How could I not like this??? So I started searching on google where can I get these felt wool.. and I found out Daiso has them!! Yeah for Daiso!! These could be my birthday present for myself!! Perfect!!!! But, I only manage to get my hands on them yesterday... coz I didn't have time to go shopping with classes and trainings and of course, laziness...

I bought the blue elephant one in the middle.. the rest are still with chingu as I asked her to buy them for me when she went to Pyramid on Friday and lucky I did because there weren't much choices in Daiso, IOI... It's possible that they haven't stock them yet... oh well...

I couldn't wait to start when I bought it back.. That's my korean homework underneath, just in case you are wondering.. and yes, I neglected my homework for this...

In progress, I made the head, ears and trunk..

Here's the end product.. I stayed up until 2am to complete this...

It's not as cute as the one on the package but, it's my first time..

Then, I realised the trunk is a tad big for the elephant.. as I made the head too small.. my mistake.. miscalculation due to the inexperienced... So i tried fixing it and shrink the trunk a little.. It looks a bit better now.. :)

I should have bought another one so that I could improvise... Now, this is the first time I am actually anticipating Monday because I could get the rest from chinguuuu...

Signing off waiting for Monday to come~~

Happy Birthday to Me

If i were to live  for 75 years, I have passed a third of my life... This year, there were no presents but tons of heart warming celebrations.. The collage on top is from HP, she no longer maintains her blog but I thought I would just link it here, might as well... I'll write further on the happenings in the collage later..

I shall start with Saturday, when I head straight to IOI mall after training for a K session with friends from work..
Although I don't have an amazingly good voice to sing with but in a confined space and minimal audience, it will do.. Yay!!

Then, hp booked me for lunch the next day... after class, straight to bongga, solaris...
Typical lunch, so no photos or anything.. but it was super filling!!!
Then, they decided to get me some cakes.. so next destination, dreamz cafe... owned by hp's primary mate..

It's a really cute cafe!!
I did not take a lot of photos but you could just go google Dreamz cafe

There were many owl decos.. really really cute...

Our table

That's brown sugar on the left...

Check out this cute teapot

It looks like an Easter Egg... but look closely..

It actually detaches from the bottom part and it's a tea cup..

Here are my cakes!!

the one in front is dark chocolate layer and the one at the back is matcha and chocolate checkered cake... They are quite expensive.. Secret Recipe range but they taste good...

Thanks gurls, for making my life warm and fuzzy... friends for more than 10 years and still on-going...

Oh, and I got a small surprise this morning too...

My friend from work gave me a slice of cake to start of my birthday~~

I guess the age must be catching up, I am now very into touching and heart warming moments...

Before the day ends...
Happy Birthday to me~~

BIRTHdays

March is here... My birthday month.. and coincidentally... IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
I'm serious.. it's my birthday according to the chinese calendar... so i am a year older then i am suppose to be this year now and i will be back on my actual age when 11th comes...

Anyway... I have nothing much to update about.. so i guess i'll just share a show that I am watching now~~

Switch at Birth (Since I was talking about birthdays.. might as well...)

Although it runs on a kinda corny plot of 2 girls switched at birth and then they found out then 2 families try to live together as one big happy family...

Well, it's a little more than that which makes me like it.. I like the part where a couple of the casts are deaf and they have to sign throughout their parts.. it makes sure people who are watching pays attention.. like me, i sometimes multitask as i might not be watching the tv, maybe more of listening... but when the scenes where the deaf are "talking to each other", it will go quiet as they are signing with subtitles.. so you can't really play candy crush while watching this... I was playing a while ago and missed a part when they were signing at each other... i decided to just waste my life and watch...

a small surprise in the show was

Lucas Grabeel... Looks familiar?? he played Ryan Evans in High School Musical.. Sharpay's twin brother.. I think he looks younger here..

Go watch if you are interested.. despite the switch at birth part, the storyline is really interesting... it's now airing on 8TV, Tuesdays 9.30pm...

Pretty heart-warming story... Loving it, still...

Predictions

I can't believe my favourite festival of the year is ending so soon.. It seems like yesterday when I had my reunion dinner!!! Time sure flies when you are enjoying.. I guess the theory is when you enjoy, you lose track of time and tend to forget that it is actually moving whilst when you are not enjoying, you keep track of the time thinking when will this un-enjoyable thing end??!!

Oh well, that's logic and that's life.. I had quite a long break for Chinese New Year this year.. Took 4 days off.. and actually, nothing special happened, the usual visitings, food, reunions, gatherings is basically the summary of my CNY..

Besides those, there will also be a whole of predictions for each zodiac sign repeating itself on TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, online and everywhere that attracts eyes... The typical one that I have been seeing on tv has 5 aspects with stars telling you how good your luck on those aspects will be throughout the year.. I don't remember how was mine exactly but then I thought I could just summarise mine for the past (I got this idea from Cheesie) and go search a prediction for the future to compare and contrast (gosh!! how long have I not seen this "compare and contrast"!!!!)

Here goes~~

Career: Doing fine, no complaints..
Health: Judging by the fact that my MC was left with the full 14 days, it's quite good!!
Money: Oh well, it will never be enough for me, unless...
Family: All alive and kicking and I am really happy that they are all healthy
Love: Errrr...

Then I shall go search for the luck meter thingy..

I found one but it does not have the Family element in it.. anyway, I am kinda lazy to continue looking for more so I will just settle with this.. behold~~ I shall add my opinions in blue

Career: Last year, 2012, Dragon people have poor social relationship. (Oh, I did??)  Lot of pressure and trouble came from the office. (Ya, work is hectic and frustrating when there are people who just couldn't get the point) The story will be totally different In the Snake year. (Oh, great!!) Dragon people will receive many helps and advice from friends, coworkers, boss or people caring about you at work. If you job is required traveling or working in the field, then you have better chance to show your performance and achievement. (No, I can't even travel to Singapore or anywhere else within the country!!!) But you still need to watch your words and behaviors. If any rumor or libel come toward you, the you must carefully handle it. Don't argue with your jealous competitors. Otherwise, the argument might ruin your public relationship and career luck in 2013. (Conclusion: Avoid arguments~)

Money: In Chinese Five Element theory, Snake is in Fire group and contains some Earth. Snake just provides the support and advice for Dragon. Snake cannot bring the money luck to Dragon. (WHY??!!) However, 2013 is a Water Snake year. Water is the money to Dragon. Therefore, Dragon people have better money opportunity in the first half of 2013. (Oh no, it's almost half of the half!!) But the money income or investment profit need to wait till winter time. (Okay....) The money luck of 2013 is favorable to Dragon people who work for public media, broadcasting, performing arts, social work, Internet, newspapers, TV, radio, telecommunications, transportation and etc. (Ahhhh... I am not anymore!!) The money luck is not from local, is from remote locations or overseas. (Seeing the fact that my company is owned by foreigners, this seems possible)

Love: The social relationship of Dragon people will be much better than 2012. In Chinese astrology, Dragon contains Male Earth, Female Water and Female Wood. Snake contains Male Fire, Male Earth and Male Metal. Wood in Dragon and Metal in Snake have attraction relationship. Water in Dragon and Earth in Snake have attraction relationship, too. There are love connections between Dragon and Snake. Therefore, Dragon people have good opportunity to find a new relationship or develop a better relationship in 2013. But the relationship won't go too much deeper. This is because that Dragon and Snake sometimes prefer to be alone. (Sounds deep, but my hopes on this are never high)

Health: There is no major issues in the health area in 2013. Dragon people may not have a good mood or good luck last year. 2013 is a year to recharge your energy. Dragon people should reserve more time for rest and relax. (But my travel plans were all carried out last year~~)  You should be able to find time for outdoor excise. So you can maintain your health in good level during year of Snake. (means, I need to go exercise...)

I guess my luck this year will be fine.. it seems fine here.. and I hope it will be fine..

Now, I have to go enjoy the remaining of my favourite festival...

Random + Happy CNY

Your Thinking is Abstract and Random

You are flexible, adaptable, and creative.

There's many ways that you can learn - and you're up for any of them.

You relate well to other people, and you do well working in groups.

You can help people communicate together and work with each other's strengths.

You don't work well with people who are competitive or adversarial.

You prefer to work toward a common goal... not toward conflicting goals.

Blogthings: Free Quizzes for Everyone

It has been quite a while since I last did any quizzes... This is just a starter for my post anyway.. nothing relevant.. just something random i did to pass time and decided to post the result up on my blog instead of sharing it on Facebook..

Chinese New Year is approaching!! I have a week off for CNY (well, it's a public holiday for 2 days and i applied leave for the remaining 3 days)

The best thing about CNY is the new clothes!! Well, just to let you know, I would usually buy clothes throughout the year and keep most of them for CNY... So this year, I will be wearing my haul from Seoul!!! and that reminds me that I have not completed my travel post for HK-Macau yet... Blogging mood is starting to wear off~~

The first week of February has come and gone, and this is my first post of the month... I'd better get it going or I'm going to screw my new year resolutions...

YouTube Sensation

Hey Peepoes!! I have been posting more frequent than before which is good since I am sticking to my resolution.. Anyway, it might also due to the reason that I am still hyped in blogging mood and I keep having ideas to post...

I have been quite keen on YouTube lately and it's not to watch shows, series or interviews.. Instead, I have been following a few YouTube celebrities...

Here are some of the channels I have been following..

Jason Chen aka miniachilles
I started listening to him after a friend shared his cover of "Hate that I love you" and it got me addicted to his covers, then I started listening to his originals, this is my current favourite, "Burns" and there's another one that I really like, it's called "Solo Player" which featured...

Jen aka Frmheadtotoe who is also a blogger.. she post make up tutorials on her blogs and are fun to watch.. I love watching her tutorials although I don't put on make up on daily basis, only during special occasions.. but her videos are really interesting..

Jen also starred in "Away We Happened" a web series produced by Wong Fu Productions an independent production company which reminded me of what i have always aspired to do... When I was watching their interview, I totally understand the feeling of having to watch out behind their shoulders when they were filming without a permit... When I was doing my uni assignments, we had to look out for security guards who will constantly keep on eye on us after finding out that we have cameras and are shooting on the property they are in charge in... those times may be tiring but no doubt they were a whole lot of fun... They have interesting videos.. so check them out if you're interested..

And then we have....

Tiffany Alvord, I found her after watching Jason Chen's "Burns" video, as embedded above.. she also did a few covers with him and I really love her version of "We are never ever getting back together", no offense to the original maybe I have a different taste.. She will be coming to Malaysia for a showcase on March but the VIP tickets were sold out.. Sigh.. If i could get someone to go with me, I will settle with the chill zone tickets because I can go stand there by myself, fyi Chill Zone is free standing so it's wiser to go with a friend so that you won't get bullied by people who went in a group...

Then I found Sam Tsui on the side bar while listening to Tiffany's version of "I knew you were trouble" and his version straight away became my favourite.. still, no offense to the original.. the guy's version of the song is nice too!!

Last but not least,

Megan Nicole, she did "Safe and Sound" and "Who says" with Tiffany, and both of them were really nice.. She also did "Locked out of Heaven" with Sam Tsui which has been on replay on my YouTube playlist..

These are my current favourites.. I havent been checking out other YouTubers who does cover videos, so I don't mean that the others are not good just these few are my current find and current favourite.. Feel free to share your favourite YouTube channel in the comments..

Macau-Hong Kong Birthday Trip Day 4

Happy 2013!!

I'm back to my travel posts.. Day 4 in HK... We decided to stay around Kowloon for the day and go shopping.. We had breakfast at a porridge shop which we forgot to take photos of..After that, we took off to City University of Hong Kong to get some information.. This was my personal itinerary.. and hp was kind enough to come along with me..

We followed the directions I found online.. CityU is right next to a shopping mall... in other to reach the University, you will need to go through the mall... How happening..

Walking into the university was nice.. I never had the chance to study in a school with a campus.. my university was just a building.. a factory-like building in an industrial area... anyway, i got a chance to walk around the campus because i was searching for the department of further studies.. i stumbled upon the department of english to check out one of their masters course..

I really hope that I could have the chance to come study here one day... well, seeing the condition I'm in.. it will have to wait.. I hate being in a condition that I cannot tell anybody about.. sigh... I sure hope the source of the problem will stop causing problems.. I really have plans for my life without these problems hanging around like dusts in the air, I would have accomplished quite a few of my plans already..

Back to HK, after CityU, we stopped by Langham Place.. hp wanted to go to their H&M.. that time, H&M have not come to Malaysia yet... so she wanted to buy some stuff there since she couldn't get it in Malaysia YET... I am not sure what promotion H&M had, the crowd was crazy!!! no photos coz I heard the salesperson told off another person to not take photos so I decided to not take the risk.. I wasn't planning to lbuy anything.. so i just roam and wandered around while hp was choosing apparels and queuing for the fitting room.. I forgot how long we took but we spent quite some time in H&M..

After that, we went shopping at Argyle Centre... One of my favourite place to shop.. I saw a cute dress when we first walked in and bargained a while.. the price was ok but not really a must-buy-bargain price so I said we'll walk around first.. and I saw the same dress in another shop.. and was offered the same price but the first shop offered me a free belt whilst the second shop did not.. so, in the end, I went back to the first shop to buy... and GOSH!!! the lady from the second shop was there and caught me buying from the first shop.. Awkward!!! then she told me, they were under the same boss so their clothes are similar and she asked the girl from the first shop how much she offered me and she said the same price as the lady had offered.. ooo.. this is really awkward that I quickly paid and got out of the shop.. phew...

Then we head to Miramar Shopping Centre.. I remembered coming here in 2008 and shopped at their Uniqlo... and that was when Uniqlo was not in Malaysia yet...

While waiting for hp as she was in the wash room (we didnt have phones to contact each other so I have to stay at one place to wait), there was a prize giving ceremony happening at the ground floor.. good thing there was something to watch.. i think it was some awareness video prize giving thingy.. I only remembered to take photos after the event is done.. but looking at them clearing up reminds me of the last episode of EMUF...

While I was waiting for hp who was using the toilet again... i took photo of the roads outside the mall.. You are looking at Tsim Sha Tsui now...

Then, we head to Megabox.. I remember Megabox was a fun place to hang out.. but maybe coz my feet was hurting, no sure why.. I could usually walk for long hours, maybe the soles of my new shoes were too hard.. so we left Megabox and cancelled our plan about going to APM to see oolongtea, and head back to the hotel..

It was our last time using the Octopus card.. so after we reached Jordan, we hand in the card and got our refund..

Just something we saw on the way back to the hotel.. this was actually remote control cars moving along the street.. i thought it was cute but couldn't get a clear shot... so just use your imagination, will ya??

hey there 2013

Hey there Peepoes!! (This is a word i invented to replace the word people.. I know people is already a plural and I didn't have to add an "s" to it.. but it's just to make the word look cute and I've roughly googled it to just check if there are any weird meanings associated to it but in the meantime there's none so I hope I am the first person who uses this word.. Yo Peepoes!!)

After wading in the 2013 sea for 2 weeks, I have finally made up my mind on what should me 2013 resolutions be.. It did took me long enough.. Hah!

1. Finish up my fanfics.. Oh, I have been dillydally-ing with my fanfics for the longest time where none of them are completed.. I'm not including the ones I wrote when I was 13-15, those were done and they seem so childish.. Oh well, I guess I have grown.. I have so many stories in my mind that some actually are almost 10 years old already!!! SO this resolution are for those posted online.. like my current work on a side story of Harry Potter.. it's in progress in my other blog.. you can find the link at the side.. or here.. and another one in my chinese blog.. I must get that one completed this year.. I have been writing that for like almost 8 years already!!! For Janet Hayden (the side story of Harry Potter), I should at least reach book 2 or completed book 1 this year.. This will not be easy but I really should get them done... after so many years, I really have to get them done..

2. Update my blogs more often.. maybe, 3 posts a month.. so i'll need to have at least 36 posts in 2013... and update my chinese blog at least once a month.. hopefully I could do that.. just to brush up my writing..

3. Find a new photo hosting site.. For some reason, my picasa web album that was provided by Blogger is almost full, so i will need a new photo hosting site if i were to post blogs with photos.. This is not really a resolution.. it's a reminder.. but anyway..

4. Read more.. I believe I have blogged about my haul during BBW.. both english and chinese books, i have quite a few in store and unread.. time to get those stories into my life!!

Alright, that's all for 2013's resolution.. Signing off for now..
