joke of the day...

this is what happens when you speak more than 1 language during daily conversation....

sean: hey... brush up your kantoi cant really understand....
(the actual sentence is shown this way:
"hey... brush up your
kantoi cant really understand...")

p3: apa kantoi??

sean: huh???

sean: are you speaking malay again???? arent you aware that i'm not a malaysian here???!!!

p3: huh???

p3: oh ya!!!! sorry....

p3: wait!!!! then what's with the "kantoi"???

sean: what kantoi???

p3: scroll back up... i'm lazy... dont wanna retype...

sean: oh! you mean this?? "hey brush up your kanto i cant really understand"??

p3: oooo... you mean canto???

sean: what else could that mean???

p3: stop mixing your "c" and "k"!!!!!! dont you know that "kantoi" is a malay word??!!

sean: how in the world should i know???

p3: oh ya... you are not malaysian... anyway.... stop mixing your "c" and "k"!!!!!

-end- well... there's more... our conversation lasted for almost 2 hours... but to respect other's privacy... i'll only reveal this portion of it... heeee....

so you see... my friend here.... sean.. loves mixing the letter "c" and "k" cuz they both are almost the same pronounciation and also partly because of a certain someone by the name of "krystal".. also a "k" replacing "c" word..... that is why mr sean here have the habit of mixing both letters...

as you can see... he intend to type "kanto i" but miss out the space and became "kantoi".... as a malaysian... i bet all of you know what "kantoi" means... so i was kinda shocked since he's not a malaysian... how did he know that word??? or maybe i have used it before in front of him... but i hardly use the word "kantoi".... well... maybe he have met other malaysian friends in school and learnt that word... haha... big misunderstanding!!!!

at first i thought my cantonese was so bad until the word "kantoi" could be used for it!!! note: he has been reading my yahoo hk blog.... i know some of the words are wrong but i tried my best to use to closest word.... and nobody said anything about that.... oh no!! my cantonese is getting worse???? how am i going to hk this way???!!!!
