birthday... surprises...

end of my weekends... and i dont think i did anything useful... besides celebrating a friend's birthday plus a small gatheringa and catching up.... that's all... no revising of comm theory... no progress on assignments... i just wasted all my time... just like that.... yikes!!!



let me just share the happy part.... it's our surprise birthday celebration for cheryl on saturday... well.. i can summarise that we are not very good and planning surprises... hee... cuz it looked kinda suspicious to the birthday girl itself... let's see... first... rae wanna plan a surprise celebration for cheryl since everyone is free on saturday... and fathimah is on holidays so we can do a small gathering as well... the whole thing was planned out kinda smoothly... until jia shan became worried just in case cheryl did not make herself available on saturday... so she called her and made an appointment with her on saturday just in case... to keep her available... as a result... rae got a message from cheryl's mom saying that she has an appointment that time and told her to cancel the surprise... waaa... that really freaked rae out.. as she called jia shan to help find solutions... in the end knowing that it was jia shan who arranged that appointment... hee.... then rae faked some plans about celebrating her birthday on sunday.. and i'm gonna be the driver... she told me the plan cuz just in case cheryl asked to confirm the time....



until the day itself... we gathered at rae's house first before setting off to cheryl's house for the surprise... we got cake and pizzas... after everyone is there... we walked to cheryl's house... then rae called her mom to tell her that we are on our way... but unfortunately... the phone died off right after we said we are now on the way... and we cant contact her anymore... so we stood outside the house opposite of cheryl's house not knowing what to do... we cant contact her mom to get her to open the door for us... and its kinda risky to call the house phone... so we just stood under the tree of the house opposite.. i wonder if anybody saw us... 5 girls standing in front of a house holding a cake and pizzas looking at the opposite house... it looks kinda weird... hahaha... "perhimpunan haram", as they will say... luckily all the attention went to the petrol hike demonstration.... so nobody cares if there are 5 girls standing outside somebody's house wondering whether to ring the doorbell or call the house phone...

at last... rae decided to call the house phone.. and luckily... cheryl's mom picked up the phone... and everything went on pretty smoothly after that... we went in... surprised her... i wanted to record all this but when i took out my handycam... then only i realise that i did not bring the dvd to record in... whoosh... how brilliant!!!! me and my pathetic memory again... then there was birthday song, blowing candles, cutting cakes and makan!!!!

actually cheryl already suspected something when jia shan called her and when her parents were buying a lot of stuff as though there are going to be some celebration... aiya.... bongkar!!!

anywayz... we did get to celebrate cheryl's birthday after all... and also have a small gathering with our old high school gang... so that's not so bad after all...
